Essays Analysis. Writing the two essays, eating healthy and King Abdullah Scholarship Program, were remarkably engaging in terms of the kind of details required to put them together. First, there was the challenge of the kind of details to include or exclude from either essay. The information available was enormous against the limited space and the requirement of brevity. Writing about eating healthy requires an assessment of the various factors that connect with the subject of eating. As such, it was necessary to limit the areas of interest on certain specific areas that connect with lifestyle and the patterns of life as lived by people in the modern world. The essay on King Abdulla Scholarships was more liberal in details since it set its focus on the consequences of the cultural interaction between the Saudi students and the Americans. The two essays presented unique challenges connected with the appropriateness of content involved. Organizing the essays involved some kind of research because much of the details were beyond my immediate experience and grasp of knowledge. In the entirety, the writing was a form of learning experience because I interacted with various sources that provided resourceful and engaging information on multiple factors that connect with the subjects of the essays. It was fulfilling to arrange these sources into logical explanations, analyses, and elaborations on healthy eating and the impact of King Abdullah Scholarships on the Saudi students. Time management was one of the challenges encountered in the process of writing these essays. A significant amount of time was spent in the reading and analysis of the information from the various sources required a depth of insight and quick processing of information in order to achieve quality essays within the right kind of time. The planning stages of the essay entailed the organization of the introduction of the subject matter in a way that would ease the understanding of the readers. I acknowledged the fact that I was not writing the essays for my own reading. They were intended for particular audiences. As such, planning involved the choice of language and the organization of sentences. Furthermore, these essays dealt with matters of general interest. Such matters can generate boredom if handled clumsily without regard to the element of beauty and creativity, which many readers seek in any piece of writing. As such, it was necessary to organize this piece of writing in a way that would enhance the understanding of the reader without placing any kind of strain on the reader in the form and choice of the vocabulary. As such, I endeavored to use ordinary language in the most extraordinary manner in order to enhance interest and understanding in the essays. There was also the challenge of maintaining the focus of the article to the required length and standards without digressing on various issues. For instance, one of the areas that presented some serious challenge on the matter. There was need to organize clear transition of facts between paragraphs so that every paragraph conveys a particular idea. At some points in the writing of these essays, it was necessary to seek the advice of experts and language experts regarding sentence structures and the proper usage of various vocabularies. I learnt that vocabularies and sentence structures constitute an important part of the writing process. As such, it was necessary to select the kind of sentence structures that would enhance meaning. I now understand the value of relying on shorter sentences because of the reduced possibility of making mistakes. As I continue with my practice in essay writing, I will experiment with longer sentences. However, I enjoyed the writing process because it offered some form of obligation of communicating specific forms of writing to vast audiences. Connecting with the audience through the proper selection of sentences and vocabulary is a task that requires careful consideration because slight mistakes can distort the entire meaning of the essay. For the most part of this research, I relied on secondary sources. I searched from books and online sources in order to find the right kind of information that I required. The information on healthy eating was found from various books and magazines that supplied factual information on the subject. Besides, the information on the essays were also sourced from appropriate online journals that included peer reviewed journals and other important sources that were resourceful in the broadening the perspectives on lifestyle eating. Details of King Abdullah Scholarship were found from the online sources. The impact of the scholarships on the students was found from the online sources. The same sources also proved resourceful in the provision of insight regarding the cultural impacts of the interaction between the Saudi and American students as a result of the interactions. If given a chance, I would still rely on a combination of books and online sources to find the right kind of knowledge on the sources. These sources are important in supplying a vast amount of information that qualifies for the measure of validity. If given another chance I would try and improve my English to approach a certain level of perfection that would indicate some element of growth in the development of knowledge and language. Communication is an art that is nurtured through consistent practice (Wyldeck 41). This consistency comes to the surface through the pursuit of the standard rules of language and syntax. I also think that I could improve the quality of my essays through the provision of enough illustrations and examples. The same quality could also be enhanced by use of real-life cases, which help to make the information supplied more authentic. Some of the academic practices that I would wish to bring on board include the use of statistical data in a way that enhances the understanding and validity of the essays. I would use statistical tools such as the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) to improve the quality of information. Readers tend to trust essays with statistical information more than the kind of essays that only focus on textual information. Overreliance on prose tends to foster the impression of hearsay, dogma, and speculation. As such, it becomes necessary to include such statistical details on matters of health and nutrition or on the impact of scholarships on cultural change in order to provide measurable information for the readers. One of the academic practices that I would leave is the reduction of the level of prose in the detail and the replacement with graphical information. Such an approach would enhance the academic quality of the essays. A knowledge-based approach in writing is more appealing than the writing that rely entirely general details.
