This project focused upon who are terrorists, what they look like, what are their beliefs and where do they come from. The very instant we started working on the project, everyone started referring to Muslims as terrorists and regarded people living in Arab nations as terrorists (Tan 94). I kept listening for a while until the entire scene made me feel pathetic and in response, I shouted out loud that no Muslims are not terrorists and it is just an image that has been created by the media and political arena. My response was quite accurate as the instructor later supported my idea and a huge discussion took place in which the teacher and the students tried to clarify whether Muslims are terrorists or not. Such discussions and clarification if held by the media can help solve the problem of prejudice. Read More
