Participation in different sporting activities improves the self-esteem of individuals in diverse ways. The participants leading in these activities feel encouraged and enhance their likelihood of participating in such games. Children also realize the benefits of completion and accepting defeat when they partake in sporting activities. Love relations are also significant in the quest to develop self-esteem because of the intensity of emotions involved. School performance could affect the self-esteem of individuals when they register extremely poor grades. This highlights the need for constant encouragement of poor performers in school to help them improve their self-esteem (Dalton, Hoyle, & Watts 39).
Satisfaction of Self Esteem
I am content with my self-esteem because I consider it average because it shuns extremities. My friends do not complain of overconfidence or absolute lack of confidence in several activities that I partake. I would wish to use my self-esteem in helping my friends to advance their self-worth. This is because such aspects will make me increasingly satisfied with my self-esteem.
Change of Self Esteem
It is necessary to consider several aspects in the quest to enhance self-esteem (Dalton, Hoyle, & Watts 55). I would consider taking counseling sessions that would guide me to adapt processes that would enhance my self-esteem.
