It can be apparently observed that several managers belonging to various organizations have implemented motivational theories in order to develop the overall performance of their respective employees. Likewise, in this journal report, a few of the theories namely conformity, obedience, McClelland’s theory of motivation, Herzberg’s hygiene theory and Maslow’s hierarchy needs of theory have been explained with the consent that motivation plays a decisive role in boosting up the morale of the employees towards becoming more productive in their work.
