24 November Analysis Before getting into details, it is imperative that the meaning of “good” and “harm” is identified. Since this analysis is my own, so I shall define the two terms according to my own viewpoint. A good man is the one who is a true believer in God Almighty and causes neither physical nor verbal to others, whereas being harmed means getting hurt, either physically or emotionally or both. I disagree that a good man cannot be harmed in the life, but agree that he cannot be harmed after death.

We have innumerable examples of good people that have been harmed and done injustice to in this world. I cannot think of anybody better in this world than the Prophets and many of them have been done conspiracies against. People have attempted to assassinate the Prophets. Such Prophets include but are not limited to the Prophet Esa (P.B.U.H) and the Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H.). There is no reason to be good in this world but the belief that one would be rewarded for the goodness in the world hereafter and punished for the evil one does in this world.

Since man has immense potential for doing evil and making mistakes, even a good man does that sometimes. But what makes him a good man is the fact that he realizes his mistakes, repents on them, and takes an oath never to repeat them. Thus, he is forgiven by God and so would rest in the heaven forever in the life after death.
