Extract of sample "Learning as a Lifestyle Today"

Consider for instance the case of Albert Einstein. The man’s name was not that familiar prior to his discovery of the general theory of relativity and the calculation of the speed of light and energy. His discovery leads to modern approach in physics today which further paves the way for the discovery of nuclear weapons, the global positioning system (GPS), and other vital technologies that substantially employ his ideas and concepts prior to their realization (Carroll 14). In other words, had Einstein stopped to think of the very principles occurring in the universe and was just contented to work as a clerk in a patent company, physicists today, or even we, would not even be able to study the other interesting ideas linked to supernova, black hole, neutron star, understanding the universe, and other vital things even outside the Physic world that continue to affect the humanity on a day to day basis.

What I am trying to imply with the above example is that to consider learning as a lifestyle today is necessary if we want to make a difference tomorrow. With substantial learning, abundant knowledge will follow. If I have knowledge on certain issues or things around us today, I would be able to share first something with myself and next to others that might perhaps educate or inform them leading to a substantial response or change in their outlook on life. If for instance, I have learned many things about the global warming issue, then I will be able to acquire significant knowledge about the things that might potentially contribute to harming the environment.

With this, if I have more conviction to implement such knowledge, then even if my action may not totally help solve the problem we might be facing, but at least I can contribute in my own little way to do the right thing to alleviate the linked problems. If I will learn how to budget my money and time, then I will probably have the required knowledge on how to employ discipline in order to make both my time and money efficient and productive at all times. If I will learn many things about human behavior, then I will grasp the knowledge on how to understand everybody in the event of how they conduct themselves, which will lead me further to consider the right response to take.

There are many things to learn so that we will have the relevant knowledge in order for us to do what is vital. For example, if I will continue to learn how to effectively interact with others, then surely I can achieve a greater height of knowledge on how to effectively convey even my thoughts about something. This will further result on my part ending as a remarkable influence on others. If I will continue to learn new things, then I will probably end up cultivating other personal things in me that need further development.

I will even become a good teacher to others, provided I have potentially learned new important things that could really be of great help to other people. It is therefore clear that to learn is to acquire knowledge. This knowledge has the potential to change our lives, may it be for good or bad. Disregarding this, learning is sheer proof that we can potentially make a change with our ability to acquire knowledge when we learn. Therefore, it pays to learn because knowledge is imminent after that. Our ability to acquire knowledge through learning things as we can see is the reason where we are now at present and in what situation we are in. Applying this to a personal level, I know that my ability to give value to learning will help me find a way to important knowledge that I potentially need in order to survive, succeed and make a difference today and in the days to come.
