Mere punishments, such as life imprisonment, for a person like Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, might not be a better punishment because his action is a serious humanity crime. Humanity crime that involves killing is a weighty offense that needs instant penalties. In such cases, people who cause a grave public disturbance should face a charge equal to the crime committed. Causing death to innocent people shows that the violators do not value the life of other people (Kotz, n.pag.). This, therefore, implies that this person should be subjected to the death penalty as a lesson to the other criminals alleged with the same crime.

Some criminals do not forget their usual activities even after maltreatment in the cell, and, thus, the court must raise concerns about the applicable punishment for such criminals. We might argue that the remaining criminal has learned a lesson after the death of his brother (Kotz, n.pag.). People who point guns at the police mean that they can shoot other people because now they despise the police force. A case when the suspect faces an alternative punishment might not be enough to cease a crime of such a kind. Thus, the only punishment that will help eradicate related crimes in the future is the death penalty.

We have had issues of criminals escaping from cells, and if he manages to run away, they might cause another serious crime. As such, having experienced the death of his elder brother in the exchange of gunfire, he could decide to avenge his brother. For some criminals, it takes a lot of time to rehabilitate. The United States remains to be at rivalry with Russia, and just holding this criminal in custody might stir up the existing grudge against the States. This proves that the release of this person could result in another mass destruction act as a show of unity and completion of the agreement. It leaves us with no choice rather than suggesting the death penalty for the criminal as a pay.

Thus, it could result in a future war between the victims and the criminal. Such an event usually paralyzes the economy of the country due to continued terrorism, and the countries involved should impose stringent measures that include the death penalty. The death penalty might be a heavy punishment, but it can help protect the future of innocent people.

This inhuman crime causes deaths and injuries to innocent folks and most likely occurs in crowded areas where the criminals target to draw the attention of people to the real bombing. To avoid future damage, the loss of innocent lives, and the repetition of similar crimes it is necessary to find a final judgment for the criminal. The mentioned above arguments suggest the appropriate punishment for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is the death penalty for several reasons. These reasons are the prevention of such crimes and maintaining peace among innocent residents. Therefore, this case requires the appropriate punishment, which is the death penalty, to avoid future terrorist attacks.
