The Native Language According to Zadie Smith, life has a messy history, complicated back stories, and multiple narratives (Smith 1). In my life, there is the presence of messy history, whereby I have faced several issues concerning my language. My language and life are accompanied by a complex background story that I cannot relate to my previous first life. Multiple narratives are combined stories concerning based on various elements. In my life, there has been a multiple narrative that has been situated in various ways that are related to my language in one way or the other. My native language is English and living to understand it more has been a burning issue. Barrack Obama has a concern that the English he speaks consists of rounded consonants and vowels compared to that voice of his childhood (Smith 1). He thinks that there is an upgrading in vowels and consonants (Smith 1). He believes that this came up in the collage along with preference for port and unabridged Clarissa (Smith 1). Zadies’ childhood story had been a story of that and this combined, and the synthesis of things that are divergent (Smith 1). According to Zadie Smiths findings, I consider myself to be many-voiced. This is because I can express many different languages and deliver the same message. According to Zadies’ report, a univocal is a person whose specialization is based on one language. A univocal does not have the potential to speak other languages well expect for the native language. My voice has been changing and fluid. This means that as the day passes so do my voice change drastically as the day passes on to the next. At my collage level, that is the date I realized that my voice had been changing drastically in terms of vocals, consonants and other literature achievements normally applied in vocalization (Klaiman 4). I support Smith because my friends are to be held responsible for influencing me and my voice. The factor responsible for the gearing up of my voice change is that I am using literature skills in my voice. Friends are the only people who can influence a person tremendously on how he or she situates his or her voice (Klaiman 6). The employment of consonants and vowels in my speech is a key factor indicating a progression movement in my voice thus introducing a radical change in this voice. My voice simply indicates to the people the true meaning of the message I am giving then. If I am telling of about a certain issue, the way I construct my sentence and the voice portrayed means a lot in terms understanding and the intensity of that certain topic (Klaiman 7). In this world, my voice hugely portrays who I am passionate that is how it describes my personality (Klaiman 7). People will tend to observe how I present my language amongst the public. This aid in respect and admiration from the people depending on the smooth flow my voice with the employment of beautiful vowels, consonants and applicable advanced literature skills in the voice (Klaiman 8). According to Smith the voice of Barrack Obama simply describes even his powers in the states. One can actually feel the thrill accompanying his voice. The courage applied, sentence construction and many more literature skills employed in most of his speeches. As for me, the employment of these skills will automatically lead to a powerful picture to the public. My voice is responsible of who I am in this world because it indicates the power within it as I speak. The intense of the voice quality uttered might be of a huge effect in the portrayal of a person’s real class and power. Many will simply analyze what you do via your voice (Klaiman 9). According to Zadie voices play a humongous role in the portrayal of what the person presents his status and the seriousness of his message (Smith 2). Amy tan has also written on mother tongue, but she has not personalized her story (Tan 10). Being a daughter of an immigrant from china, her Chinese name is ‘mei’ meaning ‘blessing from America.’ Amy tan is quite remarkable because she has tried to distance herself between her former ethnicity, but after writing the first book, she discovered how Chinese she was (Tan 12). In the current article, she seems to be quite fascinated about language and voices in daily life. Amy has been using a funny language, and the husband is quite okay with that. In fact, he has been using the same language back on her too (Tan 13). This language is English but sentencing construction is an issue. During Amys’ young age, she believed fractured English could have an effect on the quality of a speech. She thought that her mother’s English had something to do with the limiting of her possibilities based in life too. Amy was enticed to English when you compare it with her mother tongue though the topic of the article is ‘mother tongue.’ She is more into English according to her article (Tan 13). I believe that the voice used and how it is portrayed, displays a prodigious message on the audience, and it gives more information on what you are talking about, who you are and the depth of the message. In the second thesis on Amy, the lady is quite obsesses with English as a language (Tan 14). Her whole article is on English though she forgets the title of the article her articles meaning. I strongly think that the title of an article should be the reflective element of what an article is all about. If the title is the mother tongue, the at least 90% of the content present should be on mother tongue (Tan 14). Amy did not review this in her article unlike Zadie smith who has stack to her topic from the word go (Tan 15). Amy has personalized her article on someone which makes her article quite pleasing in comparison to Amys’ article that is self personalized (Tan 15). Both articles are on voices, languages, and also the expression the language might form. According to Zadie my life is reflected by several factors but I believe that my voice has a massive impact on my life too. What I speak and how I output my sentences verbally, determine the response I am going to get from the person I am talking too. Voice output will result to the analyzation of a person. In Amys’ article, I believe my mother tongue has a little impact because it is English, but to other individuals their mother tongue my adversely affect their English. Works Cited Read More
