Then I went to another boarding school in America and finally graduated from a university in Japan. Throughout these experiences, I have met a lot of new people from diverse backgrounds, and learned to adapt accordingly amid the culture differences. Having found these opportunities since my childhood, I take pride in my flexibility and adaptability. I graduated from the Waseda University with a degree in Bachelor of Arts. Being one of the five toughest universities in Japan, the curriculum was already quite advanced and complicated as can be expected of any prestigious university. Having multi-lingual background, I have witnessed how cultures can influence media differently. Each culture has its own way of making social impact on people. For example, during my years in Japan and Thailand, I used to be fascinated by the regular use of advertisements that were more family-oriented compared to the ones in the United States. Witty and play-on-words advertisements far less used in Thailand than in Japan or America. Although my research interest is circled around these issues, my primary objective would be to explore the significance of social media tools in popular culture the way they can be utilized to achieve more benefits. In the recent years, the social media tools have gained more influences lucratively in businesses and I would like to research and look deeper into those new possibilities. Over the years, I have started to appreciate learning different things and being at different places. In addition to the great academic reputation of my undergraduate university, I also chose to study in Japan simply because of my association with the culture of Japan, its cuisines and the comic books. Similarly, I have always wanted to experience the arts, fashion and the long-term elegant traditions of London and everything it has to offer. Being centered in London where people from ...Download file to see next pagesRead More
