The paper "Civil Engineering Course" is an outstanding example of an application/admission essay on engineering and construction. I am applying for a place on the Civil Engineering at as I want to obtain an excellent set of qualifications that will enable me to achieve my career objectives of becoming a successful engineer for a reputable company. For as long as I can remember, I have been involved with different subjects relating to engineering at home, work, and school. I hope that I can express to you my keen interest in this subject in this personal statement.

I first discovered my passion for engineering when I was in elementary school. At the age of nine, I became fixated with Lego toys. I used my imagination to assemble and create models of almost anything, particularly large, impressive buildings with tiled floors and many little details that made the models intricate and true to life. Moreover, as a child I spent a great amount of time with my father at his job sites, learning how buildings are constructed and the processes through which these constructions come together.

My father graduated from the University of Tennessee in Civil Engineering and I think this is the route of my inspiration for studying this subject. Since the age of thirteen, I started to help him in construction while he was building our current home apartment. Working with my father was a memorable experience, which has prepared me for my career in engineering. At that time, I learned how the building is related to all fields of engineering, such as architecture, mechanical engineering, electrical and most importantly structural engineering.

It is for this reason that I chose my major in mathematics at high school to set my future prepared to be for an engineering school. At the age of eighteen, I registered at a private architecture school where I finished all the courses and received my license in design and drafting by computer and hand. At the age of nineteen, I was accepted on the Civil Engineering course at the Azad University of Ramoon, which is one of the best engineering schools near our city. This is one of my most proud achievements.

It was here that I was able to improve my knowledge and gain a more holistic understanding of this subject. During my studies at this university, I was working for an architectural construction company, which allowed me to gain experience in many new things in the field of construction and engineering. As such, I hope it is clear to see that I have a great deal of experience in this subject and thus this should allow me to be an efficient student at your university.I came to the United States when I was twenty-three years old.

As such, I relinquished my place at university and I quit my job in order to come to the land of opportunity, improve my English and to gain good qualifications that will allow me to enter into an excellent career. I started my education at college and at the same time I was working for Ekon Construction Company. Sadly, I had to leave this job when I moved to San Francisco from San Jose. However, I learned a great deal working for this company and I hope that I will be able to bring some of this knowledge to my studies.

From what I have heard about your university, I feel that I will be able to fit in well with academic life and develop as a student and as an individual. I understand that you have a great many excellent facilities that will further my understanding of this subject, such as, your highly-experienced lecturers and extensive library system. I whole-heartedly believe that a qualification from your university will permit me to achieve my career goals. In my free time, I am a very active individual and enjoy participating in many different sports.

For example, I play a lot of tennis, soccer, and sometimes basketball. I like playing these sports, as they enable me to keep fit and develop my team-working skills. I hope that I can become an active member of your student sports teams whilst study at your institution. In addition to this, I like to play the guitar, as this allows me to practice my skills and use my imagination in producing music. In closing, I believe that I have a great deal of knowledge in Civil Engineering, which furnishes me with skills that I can use whilst study at your university.

In addition to this, I have a life-long interest in this subject with much of my inspiration coming from watching my father at work. I hope that it is clear to see that I have all the necessary skills needed to be a successful student at your university. Finally, I would like to thank you for reading my personal statement.
