Finally, process reengineering has been of immense use in the bulk solids handling industry due to the cost restructuring efforts of individual firms.

Overall this research paper would focus on such important learning outcomes as the growth and orientation of bulk solids handling tasks; its critical importance in the context of an evolving paradigm of new process engineering capabilities; new bulk powder handling technologies; and tool & equipment reengineering developments.

Modern engineering science on bulk solids handling involves procurement. The unprecedented changes in the bulk solids procurement process have compelled designers and planners to integrate procurement into the supply chain management task at the individual firm’s level so that new technologies and modern equipment would be utilized with the attendant benefits associated with reduced costs and speedy handling.
