In top-down approach, the problem is solved by sectioning the problem in different stages. In this manner, the problem is solved at different stages. The approach takes less time in solving the problems. The approach provides an ease and makes it easier to solve the problem and the solutions can be reused to solve the other relevant problems. The problems remain in manageable boundaries as it is easier to solve and manage small chunks of problems that than bigger problems. The approach creates clear path in solving the problem and help engineers to determine the sources of problems and possible chances to solve the problems.
The solutions can be reused and at the end of the problems solving, the small chunks of solutions are joined together to depicts the solution for the problem. Ball Screw is a mechanical actuator that has a linear nature. The function of the ball screw actuator is to convert the rotational motion in the linear displacement motion. Ball screw actuator consists of a screw and a nut assembly that have limited friction between them. The screw is such made to hold and move the ball bearings between the slots of the screw and nut.
The size of the slots that hold the balls depends on the size of the balls and the size of the screw. The screw has the threads that are responsible for the movement of the balls and the nut. The nut holds the balls and circulates the balls within the body of the nut as the nut displaces from its possible. With no respective returning of the balls, the balls will escape from the nut and dismantle the ball screw assembly. The movement of the balls within the ball screw structure makes it to have lower frictional resistance.
The threaded structure of the screw creates a helical raceway for the ball bearings. In order to reinstall the ball bearing within the threaded structure of the nut, a tubular return structure is used for the
