Therefore, this class provides an avenue through which information can be passed to mechanical engineering students in their early years of study. Another aspect that I find very imperative is how the course identifies the various aspects of communication in the mechanical engineering field. It identifies the purpose of communication, targeted audience, and contexts in which various genres can be crucial with respect to other forms of communication.

The audiences that are identified include colleagues at work, project supervisors, and fellow classmates. With this knowledge I am able to appreciate the importance of communication in the engineering field, and thus the essence of taking your course. Thanks, Reid.
