Frederickson and Cline (2002) offered three views on Special Educational Needs. The first view, also referred as the traditional way of thinking about SEN, was to look at SEN as individual deviation from the norm. An individual child is compared to the majority of the children of the same age.

The proposed study will venture to examine the level of proficiency of building level administrators in Pennsylvania of special education laws and look at possible factors which facilitate or deter their decision making on special education issues. It will also scrutinize specific areas of trepidation for administrators, based on their self-reported areas of greatest concern in special education law.
The scope of this work is focused on whether the participation in an after-school program is beneficial to at-risk middle school students. This topic is important because there is a need for increasing the amount of time in which students are involved in educational activities beyond the regular school day.
The aim of the paper was to induce a strong and keen interest in performing the tasks which had been allocated to the children.
