Important Things that need to be done in Education Essay 11h July, Important things that need to be done in education Education is a way of giving people to learn critical tools and skills, which will help them to equip with better understanding of a particular subject. Education helps people to work better and gives them opportunity for growth and sustainability, and helps them with the chance or making themselves economically sound. It helps to fight and spread information and knowledge related to medical treatments, reduces the health risk related to different diseases and helps to improve health standards. Education also encourages earning transparency, good governance, stability and helps fight against corruption (Education, 2014). One has to understand that education is a lot more then reading and writing and arithmetic. It is one of the most important investments of human, a gift from a parent to their children, and a gift from country to their citizens. The investment made by the government has far reaching positive impact on the overall economy and society of the county. Education is the only tool that helps in building the future of the person, which would in turn reduce poverty and inequality. One of the survey have shown that if students learn only how to read and belong to low income group and leave school after learning the basic 171 million people can be pulled out of poverty (Education, 2014). There is no one benefit to education and if we start defining how it can change the course of a person’s life we would find amazing results. It is one the tools that make the environment a better place to live with better health standards; it helps people to increase their income and not to be a part of low income group. It helps to create law awareness and deal with female issues and rights which is a critical section of the society which is neglected in most part of the country. It helps achieve peace by uniting people on the ground of education which is common to all instead of diving them into groups. It helps raise the ability to bring about new and out of the box technological changes in many fields of science and arts. If people are more education they find themselves with better economic conditions and in turn helps the country to achieve economic measures as well. It saves children lives in many ways, through health quality and by decreasing the different between gender biasness. Last and not the least of positive changes that education brings is reducing poverty and creating common grounds for humanity. Education is a link, a link that will carry us to closeness and togetherness. It is one of the most important things in life, because without education it is hard to contribute to the betterment of the society at large. It is an invisible power, and one only needs to learn the importance of what they can achieve if they have gained the knowledge. There are few steps that an individual has to take in order to reach to the right amount of education for a particular subject. The course of education starts with research. One has to research it benefits and importance, one has to see how can education affect his life and along with his how can it affect the lives of other. Once the person is convinced by the power of education, he needs to find a role model, and the role model defines the course strategy of the person’s future. Which field they want to select, what do they find interesting and how can they contribute to the particular filed if they proceed with it. Once the subject has been decided the next step is to work hard to achieve the goals. The goals is that your works has to acknowledged and admired, showing education is what makes you happy and satisfied in life. Once you have achieved your goals you need to be social, education people who are close friends and people who have interest to learn more in your choice of subject, and this could help someone achieve more in life. The world is a changing world and things are constantly growing, that is why after being social the person has to learn about the environment, it is to educate the younger generation about pollution and other environmental problems that the world is facing today, to educate about the environment helps the students to get a perceptive and deliver back to the world. This make the earth a better place to live, a place filled with the beauty of nature. It is the mix of education and the knowledge of the environment that a person is able to do different experiments and tests, to help and support the world in different ways and to provide the people with a better living standard and to generate a positive environment and the last step of the cycle is to find motivation, because if they don’t succeed early in life, they find themselves dishearten from education and show lack of interest. Everyone has their unique way of earning and gaining information and they need to learn ways to know what is their strength and how can they give education to themselves in order to give back to the world (wikihow, 2014). The most unfortunate thing is that even though the people have developed and has created different inventions there are still things that are lacking in the education industry and needs to be given special attention to ensure that they are managed at their earliest. Although teachers and administrators are doing amazing things all around the world but they are also bound with certain limitations. Few of the basic things that lack in the 21st century education is the lack of computer rooms and classes, there were times when student had a special computer class, and in these classes students were given special lessons how to learn and type on a computer, it should be an integral part of the educational system. The system has isolated class rooms, these isolated rooms take away the creativity of the leaner, and it is known to be an enemy of improvement. There should be open door policy and the learning cycle should be complete where all are a part of education process and everyone is learning from everyone (ingvihrannar, 2014). There are few teachers who are strict in nature and follow what the books says, these are teachers who work silently, they are not connected to any outside world and limited to the knowledge they have. Such teachers can be a limitation to the learning process and instead good and active teachers should be hired to ensure that proper education is being delivered to the students. The school starts early in the morning and the early timings make the students lazy in the first few hours of their learning process (What kinds of changes need to be made with our countrys educational system?, 2014). They can’t concentrate and along with early timings they have to sit late to complete their assignment that is why they don’t get much time to relax. This makes the learning process obsolete; the students are not active most part of their learning time. Everything has changed and the only place that remains the same today are the libraries, it should not be a place of books only, the time has passes and everything is available a click away. The libraries have to redesign and made in a manner that makes the place more energetic and should be the heart of the school. They should have video centers, powerful editing tools; 3D is the new technology and should be incorporated into them. There are not workshops conducted for students to gain a perspective of the outside world. Their knowledge is limited to the area they study and the course outline. Cross culture training and experience should be shared to ensure that the learning curve is expanded and all students could learn about the entire world instead of limited course outline (Sehity, 2014). People would learn about the difficulties that are being faced by education system in the developing countries, where government are short of funds and budget, they don’t have educated staff and they are not even equipped with the latest technology. They don’t have proper infrastructure and girls have to face much issues in such areas where they are not encouraged to gain education (BMZ, 2014). One has to understand that the world today and the needs of the society have both changed, and they are much different from what was originally needed. The world is globally connected it is easy to spread knowledge and education across borders, the world has set certain internal standards which not only help the students to gain information from any part of the world but to help them spread across the world as well. Although the ideal situation would have been to have a single standard of education across the globe but there are many other factors that affect the system. Because education systems are being reformed they need to revolutionize to bring a positive and impactful change to the world.
