This shows the importance of improving the quality of special education so that the percentage of success in future can be increased. Along with it, the cost for the medical needs of children will also increase if they are not properly trained to fit in to the realm of the society. Many research studies have carried out with an objective of improving the effectiveness of the children. Even though many students have undergone special education, they couldn’t make a better future. The researcher has given high priority in making parents the partners and change agents in the path of their improvement and the special education needs of the children so that the quality of education is improved.
“All education professionals today, and more specifically special educators, are guided by the federal mandates of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA, 2004) and the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) of 2001. These two acts stress the importance of family/school partnerships as a more meaningful method of educational intervention rather than a child-focused strategy alone.” (Mulholland & Blecker, 2008, p.1).The success of special education depends on addressing the special needs of each student.
The special education needs will be different from person to person. The effective strategies must be taken to address the issue of special education needs so that they can achieve success in their life. The teachers and tutors have certain limitation to address the issues of the child in a comprehensive manner. They cannot concentrate on each student for addressing the root cause of each of their problems.
