Response Response to article The contemporary teaching approaches entailed in the curriculum had their establishments in thepast; hence, they are typical traditional approaches to teaching HPE. These traditional approaches face challenges from the novel trends regarding teaching HPE. For instance, sports education and teaching various games to boost an understanding are the recent methodologies that are posting challenges to the traditional ideologies. Moreover, the role of HPE has undergone a redefinition and has expectations to contribute towards more generic outcomes.

Therefore, it is important to ensure that the teachers have considerable knowledge pertinent to the novel techniques regarding HPE to necessitate their understanding and integration into children learning. As Clennett & Brooker (n.d) assert, teachers do not have an understanding of the current HPE methods that can have positive impacts in integrating physical education. On the contrary, they hold dear the past methods of teaching HPE while neglecting the new methodologies. Methods such as teaching the games for student understanding and sports education require the teachers to be versed and have the capacity to deliver.

If such methods do not get integrated into the teachers’ learning platforms through continued learning, the children will never have the benefits that come with HPE. Thence, it is crucial to review the curriculum and incorporate the new teaching methods that can foster the teaching of HPE among the children. In so doing, the children will reap the best out of HPE including good health and academic performances. Reaction to article #2 Physical education is imperative among the young school-going children due to its significant contributions regarding their development.

For instance, physical education prevents lifestyle diseases such as high blood pressure and obesity. Further, it has numerous psychological and social benefits where it modifies depression and anxiety. Moreover, it contributes to advanced mental and intellectual capacities. For example, there is a significant relationship between academic achievement and the children’s physical activities. Similarly, physical education bolsters the kids’ recreational skills while enhancing a positive attitude towards exercise.

Additionally, physical education brings better language skills aboard amid the physical education classes. It is evident from the research that involvement of school going children in physical education has a myriad of benefits. The benefits not only have an inclination to their health and well-being but also their academic achievements. As depicted from the scientific studies conducted by several researchers, physical education has positive impacts to the development of the young children. For instance, engaging the children in exercises boosts their mental and intellectual capacities.

The children interact with the others where they learn things that they could not learn in a class context. Due to such physical exercise, the children can learn the various language and recreational skills that guide them in their interactions with others. Due to these interactions, the children’s anxiety and depression can be manageable. In this regard, the aspect of physical education is integral to the academic and well-being of the children and should never be faced off. Thus, considering such an important aspect as a frill means that the children will not have a chance to a fair life development.
