A student has disabilities and needs special attendance. It is also the responsibility of the teacher in charge to ensure that the student receives special consideration.

However, some factors hinder successful learning among students, and at the same time, some factors promote real learning. Therefore, the teacher should ensure that the students receive a supportive environment towards their learning activities (Bacon). Moreover, some activities make the student active in his or her daily activities. Therefore, the tutor needs to ensure that students play to break monotony or boredom.

Instructional strategy challenging for the student is a learning disability

Class discussion is one of the most dangerous strategies to the learning career of the student Alex. Ales are a student who has asthma, cannot participate in group activities, and prefer to be alone. Therefore, through the application of the class discussion learning strategy, the student will not be able to participate and thus feel as if he is not part of that particular category. In addition, the student will also not respond appropriately to game presentations as well as group work and discussions.

Challenges of the strategy to the student

The student is asthmatic and could be having a problem speaking loudly. That will make the student to lack self-esteem and there contribute to discouragement. In addition, the student also has the characteristics of enjoying his company. That makes the student with a disability not be free with a class or group discussion.

Adopting the strategy to meet needs
The process involved in learning by students requires personal input. Therefore, the teacher needs to ensure that he attends to the student mostly in private sessions. It will enable the tutor and the student to be good friends, and that might cause the student to open up to the teacher.

Effectiveness of adaptation for the student in making progress toward achieving the learning goal

Once the student will be friendly with the teacher, he will also be able to accommodate other students. However, the student will be able to share an idea with fellow students and play with them. Once the student has started playing, he will be physically stable and thus reduces the chances of collapsing because of asthma. In addition, the willing student gets more friends who will understand him and therefore support him with his asthmatic condition.

Additional instructional strategies from the outline of plans that could be challenging for the student

Teacher Demonstration and Presentation of additional information about the concepts and lead whole-class discussion. Challenges of the strategy to the student, her performance will enable the student to concentrate on what the teacher will be teaching. In addition, because the teacher understands the situation of the student, the teacher will be able to reach the student in a friendlier meaner, therefore, making the student learn better and more freely.

Adopting the strategy to meet student’s needs
To change the policy of class participation, the teacher should enough that he provides the students with adequate materials that will facilitate class discussion. The teaching staff needs to always ensure the safety of the environment to support the development process.

Effectiveness of adaptation for the student in making progress toward achieving the learning goal

The adaptation of classwork discussion will enable the students to achieve the set goals in the sense that, it will allow them to develop self-esteem. In addition, the student will make more friends with classmates because of frequent interactions in terms of questions and answers. Moreover, the student will also attain the set goals through the share of ideas.

Choice of the assessment progress of the student toward the set goals

Assessing the communication that the student makes with others will be the monitoring assessment tool toward goal attainment. In addition, the commitment of the student to class work will also serve as a follow-up evaluation tool for attaining the learning objectives of the student.

The rationale for the choice of assessment

The learning needs of this student are attaining a favorable learning environment. For active learning, the teacher should ensure that there is a quiet environment and as well provide the necessary materials that will boost learning. The learning progress of their student will also be assessed basing his argument with friends while in class discussion.
