A comforting place helps individuals engage with what they are studying, and understanding becomes easy. In addition to, another advantage, of creating revision timetables, is that it helps individuals recall and summarize their notes. Revision timetables are an effective way of reading for exams in the end. There are disadvantages because it is not applicable to a situation where the date of the examination is closed. The technique works when there is adequate time to plan for examination. It is not applicable where the time to revise is limited. In the scenario where the time is limited, the revision timetable is difficult to use (Sherratt 2012).
Exam timetables have been individualized for most students when they want to read about their assessment tests. Individuals who create an organized timetable can create breaks. The breaks are important to the readers because it helps them to relieve stress during the revision process. Anxiety and stress create panic among students when it comes to revising for an examination (Smeeton 2005). Statistics indicate that most parents do not encourage and motivate their children, and it creates the panic among them. One of the weaknesses of exam revision timetables is that parents do not offer words of encouragement. Checking the exams timetable of students encourages them to work extra.
