In addition, my country has few if any education officials who have specialized in this particular area. By majoring in educational technology, I will be able to learn more about proper methods of conducting research on educational subjects, while also understanding more about the recent advances in computer programming.

I will also be able to use technology efficiently in different educational settings like in classrooms. What is your career goal?My goal is actually to give instruction in the subject of Educational Technology in a tertiary institution in my country. With a degree in the subject, I would be able to benefit from different opportunities because facilities such as universities, libraries, and schools in my country are constantly searching for members who are qualified in this particular field (Reisner & Dempsey, 2012).

Assume there is an instructional designer position opening in higher education/ business/ military/ health care and you would like to get this job. How will you prepare for the interview? What will you present to the interviewer in order to get this position? What is your confidence level about getting this job? How will you do to convince the interviewer that you will be able compete with those who also apply for this position? I would then come up with a format which would allow me to stand out among other candidates in the forthcoming interview. I would also study my body language, in order to correct any unintentional postures that do not convey confidence. During the interview, I would also ask a few questions of my own in order to signify interest in the job available while also learning more about what my responsibilities would be. To gain the attention of the interviewer, I would seek to demonstrate my understanding of the job’s requirements as well as my knowledge of the company to the interviewer.

I would also provide practical examples of how I would undertake different responsibilities in order to meet the organization’s objectives. If there were any duties of the job I was applying for that I did not understand, I would seek to discuss with an interviewer a task that is similar to that I do not well understand which I had performed in the recent past, and stress on my tendency to be able to learn things quickly and on the job. I would seek to demonstrate my understanding of the tasks that the job requires instead of talking about how much I know.

As I am well able to multitask, I would seek to demonstrate this to the interviewer by giving an example of how I would manage different responsibilities simultaneously. This would give the interviewer something to remember even after the interview finished.
