The process is usually inquiry-oriented and is designed to engage the learners by focusing on the available information rather than searching the information. It specifically, supports a learner’s synthesis and evaluation capabilities. Additionally, the thinking capacities are well developed and grown. Basically, a webquest includes an introduction to the task, a presentation of the task requirements, and a list of resources for use by the learners.

In addition, the webquests has a step-by-step description of the task. The webquest also contains some questions for the learners that are meant to assess the learnt information and a commentary of the learnt information (Thombs et al. 2008).A child’s mind is described as highly adaptive and it gives children the capability to learn large amounts of information faster than children.
