Explain Why the Attributes Are Important, and Then Defend Your Standard / Attribute Alignments On the basis of the above depicted chart, it can be affirmed that the aforesaid attributes are important because they represent a strong school leadership purview. It is worth mentioning in this similar regard that these significant attributes intend to signify broad and high-priority themes which should be possessed and followed by the education leaders in order to foster the success of every individual student. In order to determine and analyze the significance of the attributes that have been portrayed in the above chart, it can be stated that these would eventually provide active support particularly to the school leaders for the purpose of complying with their respective professional learning requirements. With regard to defending the standard alignments in accordance with the identified attributes in the chart, it can be viewed that the above mentioned standard alignments enable the school leaders or administrators to effectively ensure that the mission along with the vision of the schools are communicated amid various parties. These parties might encompass parents, teachers or teaching staff, community members and, most importantly, students. Specially mentioning, the aforesaid attributes and standard alignments assist the school administrators or school leaders in acquiring a greater knowledge and better understanding of certain decisive aspects. These aspects may include promoting growth and development of the students, developing an effective curriculum design, determining evaluation approaches, measurement along with assessment strategies, developing school culture and recognizing the role played by technology in fostering students’ professional growth and learning (School Administration Publishing, LLC, 2013). 2. Compare How the Other Leadership Standard You Identified Aligns (Or Does Not Align) to the ISLLC Standard You Chose for One Attribute Apart from the above leadership standards, the other dissimilar sorts of leadership standards that can be recognized within the circumstance of school settings are relationship building, comprehending and managing changes, and possessing an explicit moral purpose. Moreover, the other leadership standards include knowledge creation and sharing, coherence building along, and ascertaining an effective alignment of structures (Ingvarson, Anderson, Gronn, & Jackson, 2006). After acquiring a brief idea about the aforesaid leadership standards, it can be affirmed from a broader outlook that these standards largely align to the ISLLC standard which has been chosen for one particular attribute, i.e., promoting the success of students through offering them utmost growth and development. The alignment would be made possible through providing significant knowledge to the students, enhancing their overall learning performances and, most vitally, developing their individual capabilities or skills. It is strongly believed that the above recognized leadership standards would align in a broader manner to one of the ISLLC standards concerning fostering the success of every individual student as these standards possess the capability of acquiring significant knowledge and understanding of various vital aspects. Similarly, these vital aspects include determination of the operational procedures, issues and the principles linked with school safety, mitigation of any legal issue impacting school related operations, and execution of advanced technologies that assist in a smooth conduct of various management functions. It is worth mentioning that the school leaders or the school administrators strongly believe that the alignment of the aforesaid leadership standards with the ISLLC standard of fostering the success of individual students would enable them to perform various important activities. These activities may comprise making effective management related decisions, accepting greater responsibilities, developing high-quality performances and standards along with constructing a secured learning atmosphere particularly for the students (School Administration Publishing, LLC, 2013). 3. Present a Brief Summary of Your Personal Leadership Attributes. Then, Identify the Theory From the PowerPoint Presentation That Best Describes Your Leadership Style My personal leadership attributes within the background of school settings and learning environment can be demonstrated as motivating the school leaders towards complying with their respective professional learning requirements in an effective manner. In addition, the other personal leadership attribute of mine is to foster the success of every individual student through developing and articulating dissimilar courses in support of various stakeholders. In relation to developing the learning environment of the students in a school setting, instructional programs and school culture should be developed to a significant extent. This can be regarded as one of my imperative personal leadership attributes. Moreover, my other personal leadership attributes comprise upgrading the management and operational related functions, utilizing available resources in an effectual manner, collaborating with diverse community members, and acting in a fair and moral manner. From the provided PowerPoint presentation, motivational theory can be identified as the best one which is related with my above discussed personal leadership attributes. Similarly, motivational theory is regarded as a set of interconnected components that function as a solitary element for serving a particular purpose. Relating to this particular theory, the aspect of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs can be taken into consideration, which best describes my leadership style. This particular aspect generally tends to break down fundamental human requirements into five distinct categories that include self-esteem, social, physiological, self-actualization and safety. With regard to promoting the success of every individual student in diverse educational settings, it can be affirmed that physiological needs refer to elements such as an effective curriculum design required to promote the success of students to a considerable extent. Safety needs determine the formation of a specific and comfortable routine which would aid in developing the learning experience of students. Social needs denote the desire to build meaningful interrelations, especially with the teachers, by the students. Self-esteem needs are mainly developed on the basis of certain significant aspects of the students, such as a sense of attainment and confidence. It is worth mentioning that once the students are able to attain the above discussed needs, they would develop self-actualization that would enable them to identify their fundamental needs efficiently. In this present-day context, it has been observed that several researchers have developed this particular theory, i.e., motivational theory, which is quite appropriate in promoting the success of students in diverse learning environments at large. As per the observations made by the researchers, the students under this theory would be able to acquire superior guidance from the school leaders or administrators. This would enable the students to leverage a greater inner meaning and superior values along with a higher purpose (Pearson Education, Inc., 2010). Thus, on the basis of the above discussion, it can be concluded that the motivational theory and the notion of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs would best describe my personal leadership attributes relating to the promotion of success of the students to a greater degree.
