Normally, an expectant mother would undergo labor and contractions when it is the time of the child to be given birth (MedlinePlus, 2013b).The process will demonstrate the natural dilation of the cervix and effacement of the uterus (MedlinePlus, 2013b). A number of women can undertake normal vaginal delivery while others require surgical caesarean intersection for the child to be delivered (MedlinePlus, 2013b).
