The case study outlines key processes of the business that are performed manually and using information technology. In this report, I will present an analysis of the Mooroobark’s system by using various UML tools. This report will also outline some of the system diagrams to demonstrate the working of the system. The purpose of these diagrams is to understand the working of the system. This report also outlines some of the major processes of the business that are extracted from the case study. In this scenario, I will outline some of major areas and aspects regarding the detailed system design and development. Data Flow Diagrams (DFDs) Here below I have drawn the data flow diagram of the system. This diagram shows the overall system data flows and interaction among different system activities and tasks. The basic purpose of a DFD is to demonstrate the flow of data from one process to another. In this diagram we can see the movement of data from one entity to another by means of arrows. However, it is challenging to understand and design a DFD for the reason that it requires highly system development knowledge and skills to design and develop DFDs for the systems. In addition, when the size of a system increases the complexity of a DFD also increases and it becomes very difficult to recognize the flow of data. It requires designing and drawing skills to effectively design a system. Sometimes, it is also necessary to find an easy to use and understand tool for designing these kinds of diagram. Hence, learning and using these tools is also time-consuming task[Ian04]. This DFD of level zero offers a great deal of information and insight into the system working and communication arrangement. The level one of data flow diagram has shown the system data sources and designations, entities and communications aspects. Level 1 Data Flow Diagram Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) An entity-relationship (ER) diagram is a specific picture or particularly designed diagram in an attempt to demonstrate the relationships between entities in a database. An ER diagram is essential for those systems which involve the usage of a database. In this scenario, ER diagrams often make use of symbols and words to symbolize three different kinds of information. In addition, these diagrams use boxes to symbolize entities. In the same way, diamonds are generally utilized to signify relationships and ovals are utilized to symbolize attributes[Mik122]. Entity Relationship Diagram of the Mooroolbark Real Estate Agency system presents the deep and detailed analysis of the system object oriented design. This design arrangement offers a comprehensive analysis of some overall system working and functionality. Basically, these diagrams are used to show relationships between entities. In addition, an ER diagram shows the unary and binary relationships between entities of a system[Ian04]. Here we have a great deal of insight of the system entities, object, and relationships among all these entities. Conclusion In this report I have presented a detailed analysis of some of major areas and aspects of Mooroobark’s system. This report has presented a detailed discussion on different aspects of the system. The agency uses a series of steps using manual and automated processes. This report has presented a detailed analysis of the system and its processes using UML diagrams. This report has presented DFDs and ERD for the system. In this scenario, DFD demonstrates the flow of data from one entity to another and ERD shows the relationship between different entities.
