Installation Art of New Media in Design Abstract In the current scenario, the technological field has been innovating rapidly. With the advancement of science and technology, people are identified to be adopting several technological appliances in their daily life with the aim of raising convenience level. . Apart from this, technological invention has raised peoples’ accessing power regarding several aspects. In this context, new media art innovation is considered as one of the modernised patterns in the technical field. Considerably, new media is an accessing device, which can be retrieved by people at anytime and anywhere. It is also recognised as a digital device that work as an interactive user feedback and creative participation among the users and the devices. New media is renowned as a real-time generation of the unregulated and new content (Brown University, 2007). In this regard, the research questions are provided hereunder. What is new media art? What is the importance of new media art in the present artistic genre? New media art is the latest development in the field of media art designing. New media art is identified as a three-dimension artwork based on which objects are presented in a realistic manner. It is an artistic genre with the assistance of which a space in regenerated in a site-specific artwork. In this regard, an installation art is identified to be based on both modern and traditional media that include painting, text, sculpture and drawing among others. In this regard, presently, new media art is used with the aim of transforming an artwork with real effects. New media art has been identified to develop a relationship between real world and arts (Bishop, 2012). In order to have a better understanding of the concept relating to new media art, a qualitative research approach has been applied. Based on the qualitative research approach, the required data has been collected from secondary resources that include journal, articles and websites for establishing the result of the arguments. In addition, cased studies are used to depicting the importance of new media art. Secondary resources ensured in describing the usage of new media art and designing as well as its importance in artwork. New media art is the modern name of few traditional technical or digital arts. In this context, computer art, multimedia art and interactive arts are used in substitution in the media industry. Several divisions of new media art that concludes computer graphics, digital art, virtual art, computer animation, video games, computer robotics, internet art, interactive art, 3d printing and art as biotechnology. Two categories of new media art include media art, and art and technology. In this regard, art and technology has several technical practices such as electronic art, genomic art as well as robotic art and on the other hand, media art includes video art and transmission of the experimental films art (Poole & Ho, 2011). After analysing the study, it can be comprehended that new media art is an important creation of technology that has made a great impact on artwork and viewers. Context New media art is now practiced by several entities in several functioning process. New media art is identified to be based on different conceptual framework that includes computer art, appropriation, telepresence, corporate parody and hacktivism. It is also identified that museums and churches are adopting the technological practices of the new media art for maintaining their cultural heritage. Innovation in new media art and designing is considered to be one of the greatest innovations in the technological field. In this regard, non-linearity is an important theme based on which artists are able to develop artworks that are generative, immersive, interactive and collaborative. New media design is an updated version of screen media such as television. National broadcasting is also identified as terrestrial, which changed the perceptions of individuals from of several generations. The importance of new media in the social life of people as well as the process of changes or development is considered in artwork for presenting the social aspects through artwork. It is also noted that the technological innovation is highly depended on the cultural changes of a society (Livingstone, 1999). New media is a technology, which is used for the video displaying purpose. Some standard technical companies are using new media design for developing few digital applications as per the requirements of customers. New media developer is often valued as user-friendly software, since it generates the customers’ interests towards the projected videos by creating animated illusion. In this context, few video organising industries uses the new media system incorporated with the video recording technology to increase the value interest of the customers. The report further elaborated that digital media has becoming a daily part of the youth of the new generation. In this context, video sharing sites, online gaming and gadgets are considerably making impact on the people’s life. It is also observed that the people of young generation are now engaged in social media and new media designing as compared to the old generation. However, the present development of the graphic design and media has been prolonged in new division, which has been only operated by the specialised people who are having vast skills regarding the implication of the digital technology. The programming process and the production of the new technology by the support of the technical support staff assists in the installation of new media art for effective environmental design (Sperka & Stolar, 2005). Traditionally, new media designing technology is human-assisted digital device in the field of computer science. New media designing is recognised as a procedure of creating illusion as per the imagination of the people. It has been observed that media designing is expensive in nature. In digital media designing the art and technology, the media has been developed as per the direction of the developer. After developing the design in accordance with the demand of the developer, the device is able to broadcast data accordingly.
