A majority of the Internet users argue that the Internet has brought them closer to other people. Some argue that without the Internet, they would not be able to connect with their friends and families who are spread all over the world. They also claim that social networking has enabled them to make friends and communicate with individuals whom otherwise they would not been able to meet without the Internet (Consalvo and Ess 56).
People from the corporate world also argue that the Internet has enabled them manage relationships with their clients more effectively and faster. In this regard, they note that through e-commerce and online banking, they have been able to communicate and transact with a lot of ease with their clients and customers without the hustle of having to present themselves physically (Internet Communication par. 2).
