1. German men are often stereotyped as being fat and bulky. This stereotype is supported by research that seconds the fact that obesity is a major problem in Germany. Germans most like to have a large piece of sausage with marinated cabbage. Also, they take 4-5 meals per day. Since I am fond of eating, this is the stereotype I guess I admire!
2. Another admirable stereotype associated with Germans is that they are believed to have blue eyes and their hair is usually blondish. Whenever you study about Germany, you come across pictures of blonde-haired and blue-eyed children, invoking the same image to the whole German society.
3. Germans are rightly believed to be extremely punctual. When they say they have to reach somewhere at 12:00 pm, they make sure it is not 12:10 pm when they reach there.
Arabians are punctual and speak good English but these are not stereotypes with them. However, Arabians are also stereotyped to be one very powerful government, like Germans. Read More

Stereotypes

...on existing misconceptions about teenage outcasts. This is because not all teenage students who tend to exhibit behavioral isolation came from problematic families. In fact, in some instances such students came from good and well of families, and the isolation may have been caused by psychological factors such as shyness (Mosser, 2011). All that such students may be in need of is just some company so as to make them feel wanted and as part and parcel of the society. Stereotyping them thus only leads to long term negative impacts that would always place them at a disadvantage, one that they may wholly never recover from (U.S News Science, 2010). The second common stereotype revolves...

Germans

... Sur Supervisor Germans Hitler's table talk, between the period 1941 and 1944, is quite fascinating revealing views of Hitler on several issues that prevailed during the time. It is worth exploring some of the contemporary issues such as nature, religion, God, Christianity or Church and judiciary. Hitler's view on nature and its acts are worth quoting, "At the end of the last century the progress of science and technique led liberalism astray into proclaiming man's mastery of nature, and announcing that he would soon have dominion over space. But a simple storm is enough—and everything collapses like a pack of cards” (Table talk, 5). How true his observations are! In fact, it proves that he has high regards for nature’s doings. He... ...

Comparing Germany stereotype with America

...Comparing Germany stereotype with America Stereotyping has long been present and has now become a part of our society. Stereotype may be defined as generalization about a group of people. The five stereotypes about Germans that I believe to be true and admire are as follows: Germans are straight forward and say what they feel. They are mostly healthy, good looking, and strong. German women are not conscious about their weight and enjoy meat. They are very simple people in the sense that they are not constantly trying to take someone else’s place. German sense of humor is subtle. Most of these traits are quite opposite to the American values. What I have noticed is that Americans are not always straight forward and usually say... what they...

These traits can be found all across Germany.Germans only do things efficiently from cleaning litter to manufacturing. Germany has many laws. As a result Germans obey crossing lights, littering laws, and other laws. Germans also feel bathing suits are optional. Nudity does not bother them. All ages will sunbath on beaches. In the frequent sauna bathing suits are not used. This goes for the elderly as well. These three traits are admirable because of the order and self-confidence the Germans seem to possess. The efficiency is admirable because if something is worth doing the Germans do it right. The obedience to the laws is also... ...

I host dinners and get-togethers with my friends in order to let them know that I am always there for them during their times of happiness as well as trouble despite who they may be and what their identities may be. Furthermore, my social and cultural background has also taught me how to get out of sticky situations involving prejudices and stereotypes by not getting too tensed about aspects that do not matter to me much. I learnt how to make new friends by opening up to people and also learnt to curb my feelings with respect to feeling like an outsider in the States by understanding that I was wanted by my friends and that they would not leave me out...

... Task: Nazis Victims Memorial The memorial’s location is on a nineteen thousand meters square at the Brandenburg Gate. The setting up of the memorial symbolizes the extent of incomprehensibility of the historical crime that led to the killing of Jews in the country after the First World War. Another memorial in Berlin is a tribute to the Gypsies (Sinti and Roma) who died during the Nazi’s racial purge. There should be separate memorials for the two groups of victims. The ort, designed by Peter Eisebman, has a name of the victims of the crime. The building of the ort was a good idea as a tribute to the victims of brutal treatment. It is also a responsibility to protect the minority groups in the country from brutal treatment... Task: Nazis...
