 Questions for Application of Pharmacy School   Answer-1: I have completed my graduation in hotel management from CSN. But I like a profession which is more humanitarian oriented and I would like to become a pharmacist. After completing my course at USN, Henderson, Nevada I can take up the job and can become a successful professional. This way I will get Job satisfaction through my professionalism and simultaneously I can advance in my career by conducting further research oriented studies in the subject. In the rapidly changing environment of Medical science and technology I can try to explore innovative ways in my profession as a pharmacist. I understand that as a pharmacist the requirement of knowledge and awareness about various medical and scientific terms are essential. As a pharmacist I will have to perform the job with efficiency and accuracy by understanding all the aspects of medical treatment. I enjoy trying improved and effective communication with the patient and customers. For improving my efficiency I will learn about latest scientific tools available for implementing the theories in the subject. By following all possible steps involved in this career with a positive and creative attitude I can become a successful professional and can earn respect in the society by doing something good to society and humanity. Answer-2: I would like to work as a pharmacist in a government health agency. By performing my duty as a servant of the government the welfare policies of government will be effectively delivered to the deserving sections of the community. I will be performing effectively to provide maximum benefit to the socially and economically disadvantaged sections of the society. While I do not know what my future holds or how I will spend the bulk of my adult life, I know that only education will detect my interest and enrich my soul. I believe USN will provide me with the perfect atmosphere and give me the education required for leading a successful life. One of the most important factors that I look for in a University is to get hands-on learning experience, which I will surely get from USN. USN will provide me with the education and experience that I need to pursue my career objectives. At USN, I will be introduced to people of many different cultures that will keep me aware of importance of diversity and have the freedom to truly come into my own, and develop my own personality. I am very interested in Pharmacy and healthcare services. I hope to increase my interest in the career of a pharmacist by attending at USN. There I will gain knowledge that would give me limitless possibilities in my journey through life. Answer-3: My decision to undertake my course in pharmacy at USN is guided by my faith and confidence in the excellent faculty and research facilities available in the USN.I want to avail the best and qualitative facilities provided by the American education system, by joining USN. The life long process of career planning includes opting for an occupation, getting into a job, and advancing in the career. My short term goal is to complete my graduation in pharmacy. My intermediate goal is to become a successful pharmacist and work towards becoming financially secure. Finally my long-term goal is to become an efficient, professional pharmacist. First of all I am very much optimistic about my future. I enjoy the happiness of life. At the same time I understand that for sustainability of peace and happiness in life there are certain things which can be considered as essential. Such considerations may vary from person to person. Personally for me, I consider financial security, work satisfaction and professionalism, and peaceful family life are essential ingredients for a healthy and constructive life. By the process of mere day dreaming nothing will materialize in the real life. Therefore accurate and logical planning about the future is very much important. Primarily I have decided to select the job of pharmacist as a profession. Therefore I want to graduate from the pharmacy program. After that I can take up the job and can become a successful pharmacist. This way I will get Job satisfaction through my professionalism. Answer-4: I am fully aware that in the rapidly changing environment of medical and health services, the pharmacists are facing the challenging task of addressing various volatile issues in the health care system. My awareness and interest in the subject will encourage me to become an efficient professional pharmacist. My interest in the subject and eagerness to become an efficient professional with social commitment will be beneficial for me in particular and for the society in general. By strictly following the values and ethics of a professional working in the healthcare system, I will strive hard to keep the name of the profession always high. With my devotion and dedication I will fulfill my commitment to the profession as well as to the society. With this intention and goal in mind I will study the lessons and will complete the projects during my course with maximum possible effort from my side. I will try my level best to assimilate maximum knowledge theoretical and practical, related to the subject. In this way by becoming a serious student of pharmacy course at USN I can get trained as a successful professional. Answer-5: As an international student from Korea, I faced certain difficulties due to linguistic, and socio cultural differences. For completing the mandatory 12 credits per each semester, as an international student I faced difficulty earlier during my hotel management course. It was due mainly due to my poor health conditions, both mentally and physically. After a period of miserable days, now I am back on track with full of confidence. My personality is more idealistic, and I am loyal to my values. I am curious and quick to see possibilities. In the case of implementation of new ideas I can act as a catalyst. Unless a value is threatened I am flexible and adaptable.I strongly believe that my personal values and ethics will influence my life and the life of those who are closely related to me. By leading a healthy and peaceful personal and family life I will become easily adaptable to a better social life. In this way I will be able to expand the spectrum of my perception towards positive and optimistic life.
