Application Essay When I came from Indonesia to the United s, my aim was to become a graduate in business studies in order to work in an international firm. Also, I wanted to contribute in the field to get acclaimed intellectually and professionally.
In fact, I have done a lot of hard work over my years in the United States to achieve this aim. When I joined the Santa Monica College, I had to face a lot of issues including language difficulties, and the transition from Indonesia to the Standards of the United States was not an easy task. However, all these years, I reassured myself that I would be able to overcome the difficulties and would be able to achieve my goals.
At Santa Monica, I learned various subjects ranging from English, Math, Economics, and Accounting. Admittedly, a basic knowledge in all these subjects is very necessary for me to reach my target. Now that I have gained adequate knowledge in all these subjects, and have gained adequate confidence and communication skills. So, the next stage in my plan is to reach a top business school where I will be able to get the very best and the very latest.
So, now, I have to move to --------- which, admittedly, is one of the top business schools in the world. The alumni there include many eminent figures from the present-day business world, and the business school is known for its student diversity, vibrant campus life, and the totally student-centered teaching approach. That means, learning at this school will further improve my communication skills, cultural tolerance, and patience, which are very necessary in the modern international business firms. This, along with the knowledge gained from the best teachers, along with the certification from this renowned business school will undoubtedly improve my chances of gaining a good job in a good firm; thus achieving my target.
