Experience Work of Intern Trainee in Al-Saham International - Admission/Application Essay Example

Running Head: Admission Essay Admission Essay [Institute’s Admission Essay In 2007, I joined Al-Saham International, a brokerage and investments company as an intern trainee. My tasks were dealing clients, orders, and performance maintenance of the company. During my job, I noticed that company was confronting a number of issues due to manual feeding of client related information. In the result, the company lost couple of clients due to inefficient data management. In order to resolve such issue, I suggested the general manager to develop an automated management information system, which will facilitate efficient arrangement of the information.

Additionally, it resulted in a number of chances for errors, and a prolonged period of evaluation every month. An automatic trading system would result in reduction of pressure on office staff that used to confront everyday due to manual system. In this regard, an online trading system was proposed. I was requested to prepare a presentation and I accepted the opportunity, as it was a golden prospect for an intern to present in front of the board of directors. I obtained support from a software engineer, as technical description was essential.

I carried out a comprehensive research on consequences after implementation. During the presentation, I was able to articulate my ideas and suggestions in an inspiring manner, which resulted in the approval of automatic system. The company selected me as the project supervisor due to my self-confidence and absence of an IT department. Moreover, I got this excellent opportunity, as my father was member of board of directors, and my uncle was chairperson of the company. After the implementation, a number of technical and physical issues were resolved.

Employees were at ease and a rapid increment was observed in client orders, and performances were evaluated in an effortless manner. Lastly, the board of directors appreciated my efforts for such an intellectual and practical demonstration of my professionalism in the company.
