There are categories of chemicals or substances that are exempted from OSHA's HazCom labeling requirements. These include; Hazardous waste This is a waste that is considered to be dangerous and harmful to the health and the environment as a whole.  CERCLA hazardous substancesThese substances include led batteries, petroleum; crude oil and its fractions. Apart from the two categories, there are other substances that are included in this group of exempted chemicals. They include tobacco and its products, drugs under specific conditions, food and drinks under certain conditions, cosmetics, and wood products under certain conditions.
