The main, impact of ERP systems on the industry, as has been described by Davenport; "the business world's embrace of enterprise systems may in fact be the most important development in the corporate use of information technology in the 1990s". (Davenport, 121-31), is going strong guns in the market. The people who can work in the market for witch these systems, apply them, and know-how these systems change organizations into big, and on the rise. The researchers have however now started to feel the need for more ERP research (Gattiker, 2895-2917) and the same has also been conveyed by others, (Gattiker, 2895-2917) The study in hand is also a similar attempt to dilate upon ERP related issues and evolve an outcome that could lead the businessmen to a course of success.

It would also overview the effects of the application of different factors, few cases of ERE implementation, and other related issues along with the sharing of experience of implementers. A literature review found that Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (packaged software solutions) has offered a variety of aspects, which are of a lot of interest to many researchers. The lack of research on few aspects of successful Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementation, therefore, warrants that the system is comprehended and studied to weigh the influence of the system on various aspects of the business of an enterprise including distribution, manufacturing, financials, and HR, and evolve appropriate solutions that may come up as a result of the integration of technology with business strategy.

The study does not go beyond the caliber of a normal student of a University, who is well equipped with the background knowledge of the subject or a common client, vendor, or a manager of a company, who, without going into the technical intricacies of the ERP systems and its software's, is expected to undertake an ERP related task. The study also becomes more important as it provides in-depth knowledge in clearing the concept and touches upon the influences that may cause impediments in its successful implementation.
