A non profit organization partner should have financial resources.2 People experiencing financial crisis are not the ideal choice to start a non-profit organization. Question 2 Higher salaries in non-profit organization can result in conflicts particularly when the organization is trying to handle unmet societal needs.4 Nonprofits also experience ethical issues concerning benefits for employees and volunteers. Conflicts of interest arise often in non profit organization. 7 Such issues can arise when a non profit organization gives preferential treatment to board members or their associated companies. For example can board members acquire contracts or donation for their own organizations or if chief donor should get special privileges, like a job or university admission for a child? Most non-profits purchase or rents goods and services or property from a board member or an associated company. Conflict of interest may arise when members of the board use their positions for individual gains.
