Stakeholders are people who are directly connected or affected by the business activities in the organization and they include the customers, suppliers, and shareholders (Harris, 2005). Moreover, while planning the management and all team members should look at the possible risk and consequences of the concluded decision. This is done to sustain the welfare of the stakeholders and society. Members should also be honest and true while providing their opinions and feedback. The Information provided should be transparent to reach better decision making. This helps to look keenly at the potential risks that may come up and the possible solutions.
My ethical perspective has evolved through my MBA program as it has given me an opportunity to learn, grow, and see things differently. I live my values every day, everywhere, and they define my personality. Whenever I am faced with a challenge, I go back to the values that I have found to be helpful while making decisions. Additionally, through ethics, I have seen myself succeed as I set high standards that I work hard to exceed them. I have both short and long-term goals that are measurable, achievable, and realistic and I ensure to meet them. In addition, I give other people around me the freedom to succeed by giving them an opportunity to excel. Believing in people and trusting that they will deliver on any given assignment. Respect for people and their opinions is important as it gives a chance for people to express themselves and share what they feel is right (Gomez, 2007).
In conclusion, ethics is vital to all people in society for it helps to make decisions and do what is right. For an individual or an organization to be successful, they should have a well-drafted code of conduct that should be a guideline when making decisions.
