Ways to Win in Business Introduction and the Thesis Statement The motive of getting into a business within any setting is to achieve the objectives of the business. In most cases the goals of the business are associated with conquering the market and winning most of the opportunities in the market. This depends with the areas of specification of the business organization in question. In the markets there are a lot of companies which produce the same kind of products that the company in question produces. In most cases there is always the battle of competition and the companies need to always overpower and outdo the others. In such business situation and of which is always the situation in the markets, the company need to strategize properly and to win over the others through acquiring most of the customers and grabbing most of the opportunities that the markets present. A winning strategy is always the process to get the business prosper and compete favorably and give back to the society. The Pillars of the Article The major goal of the article is to help people who are in the business world and who are with the ambition running through their veins to win their goals in the organization and the entire society. To achieve the goals in the business organization, all the parties involved in the running of the business should have the will to play the roles with positive attitude, be innovative, responsible and driven by the motive to achieve the goals of the business organization. Therefore the major pillars of the book are: integrity, positivity, innovation, responsibility and motivation to achieve the goals of the business through cooperation and coordination (Jack & Suzy, 2005). For the business to prosper within the set goals and even beyond the goals, the entities involved in the operation of the business must cooperate to get the wheel of success rolling to meet the goals of the company. Discords in the operation of the company will lead to failure of the company in that the operations will be itched by lack of cooperation and the goals may not be met in time or totally fail to realize the set objectives. It is therefore important for the parties involved to work as a team, through cooperation in order to realize the set objectives of the business and within the stipulated periods (Jack & Suzy, 2005). This is presented in the article through the example of a situation where the general manager of the company is up to meeting the set objectives of the company and putting a lot of commitment to the job, while the workers are lazing around and putting very little commitment to the success of the company. Another pillar is the integrity of the parties involved in management of the business. Integrity in this sense implies the need to be sincere, truthful, honest and showing real dedication to the operations of the job within the organization (Jack & Suzy, 2005). When an accountant embezzles funds, misappropriates funds, or misuses the resources meant for upgrading the business operations and services, the company is not likely to win in the market. Integrity of the entities in the business will imply that the people serving the company or organization are up to the tasks that they are employed for and thus the realization of the goals of the business. Integrity boosts the competitiveness of the company and therefore the ability to win and enrich the people tied to it. As the author of the article reveals the responsibility of the parties involved in the business of the organization is very fundamental in the realization of the set objectives of the business. When everyone in the business is set to meet the goals through neat work and full submission to the realization of the missions of the company as well as the values in the company, the organization is hinted to realizing the objectives and this is the winning strategy of the business. This will then be translated in the motive of the people to truthful to tasks that they are assigned and having the will to realize the set targets within the departmental operations. Responsibility hints at being at the will of the company and acting with great pleasure as if the goals, as if they are for individuals working in the company (Jack & Suzy, 2005). For the business to prosper and realize the goals which are the winning strategies for the case of the operation in any business, then the entities involved in the business, in this case the personnel should be interested in being innovative for the sake of the company. Being innovative helps the company in identifying better routes to success through the provision of better services to the customers. When the workers are innovative, the company will be at a better place with solving the problems and challenges that affect the operation of the business. The challenges that the company faces in the operation, production, distribution, supplying and in the markets will be solved with great ease since the means shall have been provided by the innovative personnel in the company (Jack & Suzy, 2005). Discussion For the future managers, the author claims that in order to run a winning company, all the components of the company must be put in place. This will be done through proper coordination of the parties involved in the running of the company as well us creating opportunities to help the personnel gain experience in the operation. These opportunities may be in form of learning in the company and being in a position to advance their knowledge in given aspects of company. The managers should be able to switch the workers from one department to the other within the company and this will increase their experience, motivate them and improve the quality of their works. This will lead to flexibility, ability to innovate and improve the quality of the services that the company gives the customers (Jack & Suzy, 2005). The major goal of any business is to win and enrich the people associated with it, benefit the society and to help in development of the economies in which they operate. All these contribute to the winning objective of the business. Conclusion All that guides the company to win is well organized strategy to win in the market, increase income, surpluses, and high profits and develop the economies after which the enriched people give back to the society in form of charities and donors. A winning company must be that one, which is well coordinated, managed, driven by great positivity, responsibility, attachment, integrity and ethics. All, these will improve the quality of the business’ services and thus attract much more customers as well as win opportunities in the markets. When the company wins all the good things that every party in business opts for the personnel, parties and all the stakeholders are motivated and work even better and smarter to maintain the business’ legacy and improve the benefits.
