To Adel Abdullah Al Buraimi, the Head of Human Resources at Dana Gas, the UAE Executive summary It is only a matter of time when the natural resources of a country will vanish. The oil-rich Middle East is gradually running out of it. The only thing they can rely on consistently is their human resource. The HRD challenges in the Middle East are huge and require intense focus on supplying skilled human resource for the foreseeable future to meet the challenges of the 21st century. Our company is a member of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry and also sponsored by it. We are the second institution in the United Arab Emirates that offers corporate training to both genders. Keeping in view current practices and vision of DanaGas Inc., we have designed and customized the following training programs for your company; facilitation of learning, assessment design learning program, the coach learning program and business communication in English language. We have specifically focused on single loop and double loop training programs. The major focus is on improving English language skills and effective time management. This will include replacing manpower with software. Our trainers will train the employees at DanaGas in softwares. These softwares are designed to shave off time from everyday company activities.

It is encouraging that Dubai is ahead of most of the Middle Eastern cities. We are an established HRD firm active in the UAE for the past 20 years. We focus on bridging the gap between an individuals skills and the organizational needs. The dynamics of the UAE, Dubai in particular, are different from the rest of the Middle East because Dubai is becoming the world capital. The ratio of Emiratis getting jobs in the private companies is below 10% according to an estimation for the year 2010 (Wilkins 5). The human analysis is important because at the end of the day a human being needs to provide the final policies and procedures that have been crafted by the software.
Customized softwares will be purchased that cover do the work of many employees. Softwares that define special macros will be put to use at DanaGas to take care of time taken in typing, opening and closing documents and proofreading. The workforce at the company will be trained to use the software. When will have sufficient expertise the company will shave off considerable amount of time every day. This time can be utilized for business expansion activities such as marketing, brainstorming and advertising.
We understand that you craft company policies based on “forward thinking and inclusiveness” (DanaGas, n.d.). For this reason we have specially designed the training course to incorporate forward thinking and being up-to-date with the latest innovation in the software. Upon the successful completion of this training program we plan to design another program customized for the risk management for DanaGas operations in Iraq.
