Moreover, organizations now understand the value of information technology, thus they are transforming their traditional business practice to new and more enhanced tools and techniques. In this scenario, this paper covers a specific example of “Agency for Healthcare Research & Quality Business (AHRQB)” that is currently operational through an old and rigid information technology based architecture. However, now the management has decided to enhance the business practice through the organizational arrangement. The aim of this research is to present a detailed analysis and investigation of the current state of the AHRQB. First of all, this paper will outline some of the potential issues from an EISA perspective by emphasizing on the organization, business and technology architectures. After this it will specify some business enhancements through specification of technology bricks at the business. Thus, in this scenario management depends on the paper based working, data analysis and reporting. This type of working structure is complex and harder to manage. Furthermore, there are also complex and non-effective business decisions because of less effective data for business operations. There is another most important issue in this case, that is regarding the visibility of operations.
