The company Of-Fit has been operating as office supplies and equipment supplier since 1998. Their corporate office is in Aberdeen and it has excellent industry relations. The company is a sole proprietorship and its owner is Mr. Andrew Schwatz who has been working in the industry for more than 20 years. The company current staff is 8 and its revenues are £115,690 and £156,178 in 2008. The company aims to expand its operations in other business areas and regions of the UK.
The detailed business plan developed for this report incorporates assumptions for estimating different elements of profits and cash flow projections over the next two years of operations. These assumptions are adopted based on the research conducted by our company. We expect that all legal and bank arrangements would be completed within the next 3 months and therefore it should be considered that the forecasts are based on the period starting after this start-up period. The cash flows projected are based on the amount of company £50,000 sought by the bank and cash inflows and outflows are projected on a monthly basis so that clear expectations regarding the business could be established. The main issue that has kept in mind when preparing these cash flows is pertaining to the current economic conditions in the UK and in particular the poor activity in the housing and corporate sectors.
The company aims to serve clients in the corporate sector which require office space or warehouses for conducting their business operations. The business prospects may be looking weak at the present but are surely going to pick in the coming months.
