I have continued serving my family business for more than 2 years which primarily is dealing with the importation, manufacture, and trade of Low Ash Metallurgical Coke ( a major raw material for the steel industry). Aside from looking forward to expanding the business, the organization is targeting as its long-term goal the establishment of a steel manufacturing plan because of its obvious big potential for success. As such, this study could give me a lift in determining how profitable a steel industry and could also be of help to discover the positive aspects of engaging in the steel industry.

In which case, I would need to look at the companies in India that are engaged in the steel industry. Nowadays, China is considered as the leader in producing low-cost steels and leads the world in dictating the prices of steel. Thus, there is an incumbent need to study the Chinese Market. The development of the steel industry is growing at an immense rate and is attributed to the growing demands and need for steel products and its derivatives due to the different constructions and infrastructures around the world.

Hence, I, together with my organization, am prompted to have this opportunity for future use.1.4 The proposed study: Background of the Steel Industry.Next to the oil industry is the industry of steel as the largest in the world. It is an industry that practically covers a wide array of products and uses. The said industry is considered to be reforming itself into being a more efficient and more practical financially. The present economic situation is affecting the prices to be higher, put disorder into supplies, augment instability and insecurity globally.
