I always have been ambitious and wanted to do have a good as well as prestigious job in my life. Along with that, I have been enthusiastic always to pursue higher studies, as it will provide me with a large numbers of better opportunities in my future life. Moreover, I always tried to be innovative in my life, so that I am able to have a better understanding as well as knowledge about the different procedures based on which a certain activity can be completed. After passing my graduation, I have been working in an organization, which would be a positive aspect for the development of my professional life. More specifically, I always have that eagerness to learn few innovative things in my life. It will be worth mentioning that I have the capacity of quick learning as well as the ability to learn most difficult things in very short period. I also worked as a computer technician in small technical company. As per my perception, my strength is that I can cope up on the basis of the needs of a situation. In addition, I possessed the capabilities to be familiar with every situation. At the initial stage of my career, I fumbled a bit in performing my assigned tasks effectively. However, during such time, I used to be positive in nature, which provided me with a positive support for my career. It will be worth mentioning in this regard that during my career growth, I was little nervous in nature. Additionally, I have been able to overcome my difficulties with my strong will power as well as positive confidence. I always have the ambition to work in a technical working domain. My knowledge in the technical working domain is very weak, but I have that capability to ensure my superior about my flawless work. Accordingly, my intention is to perform my work with perfection. I have developed a perception towards performances that through continuous practices, people can be able to learn and gain knowledge for performing operations with perfection. In a similar context, I have also learnt about the process of rectifying a number of mistakes that can be a vital advantage for my own development process. It is more apparent that people should have the courage to learn how to rectify their mistakes for ensuring a better personal as well as professional future. Therefore, in my early phase, I started working as a computer technician in a small technology firm. During the initial stage of my job, I was nervous in nature. The major reason behind my nervousness is that during that time I was unable to understand about the major factors relating to numerous aspects about my job responsibilities as well as roles. During the initial stage of job, my knowledge regarding the job was limited. With the limited knowledge, I was facing a large number of challenges that were acting as a barrier in the way of my career growth. To overcome all my limitations, I had been paid lot of efforts that can be helpful in building up my knowledge relating to my work. In order to mitigate my limitations, I had joined different technical classes as well as participated in computerized workshop that can be a supportive factor for my career growth. The actual problem is related to my limited knowledge about a large number of technical aspects. In addition, I have to develop my working skills, as it becomes mandatory for my future growth. In this regard, I have joined few technical courses, which are highly relevant with my working style. My academic courses are entirely focused upon computer science and the field I want to expertise is repairing as well as fixing computers whenever problems or errors are noticed (Northern Ireland Curriculum, 2007). More specifically, it can be stated that for building my career as a computer technician, I have joined few courses to develop my knowledge, which requires a different mindset. During that period, I had adopted the approach of Creative Problem Solving Model, which has been better known as Osborn-Parnes process. It will be worth mentioning that adoption of the model has been beneficial to me. It provided me with better knowledge as well as strategies that would play a supportive role for developing my key skills along with my perception (Byron, 2006). CPS Model CPS model is a mechanism that involves a large number of different strategies that influences majority people to develop own key skills. The creative problem solving process is highly dependent upon the human mental process. It will be evident to say that the creative problem solving process model is useful in building people’s mindset in a creative manner (Byron, 2006). The creative model was formulated by Alex Osborn in the year 1963. He is popularly known as creator of brainstorming. Apart from this, he is also popular as the founder of Creative Education Foundation (CEF) and co-founder of a highly successful New York advertising agency. In addition, Sidney Parnes also recognized to be a popular as a bright and creative person who has followed Alex Osborn as the President of CEF. It has been identified that Sidney Parnes has been involved with nearly 40 years in teaching creativity workshops as well as course. He also invested in thinking about the creative process of problem solving (Arieti, n.d.). The creative problem solving model is considered as an effective strategy that can support people to develop a strong mindset of better performance. The model is not only a structured problem solving process, but it is also identified as a process that provides a large number of useful techniques for enhancing performance as well as achievement level of an individual. It is also observed that the model will be helpful for future development process (Byron, 2006). Every individual can use this model to improvised own techniques as well as feature. It will be worth mentioning that the model is based on certain steps that include Mess-findings or objective findings, fact findings, problem findings, idea findings, solution findings or idea evaluation as well as acceptance finding or idea implementation (The Creative Problem Solving Group, Inc., 2003). These steps are recognized as very significant for individuals, as it works as a guideline for developing creativity in terms of problem solving. Through these steps, individuals are able to have an idea to perform in an effective manner. Every step is working as a clue for as well as provided them with a description of the every single individual step. Through the evaluation of these steps, individuals have been able to have an idea relating to future creativity as well as workable solution (Northern Ireland Curriculum, 2007). It will be worth mentioning that the initial three steps of the creative problem solving model includes the divergent thinking phase, which depicted about my individual strengths for generating new ideas. On the other hand, rest of the three steps is known as a convergent phase, which provided an explanation of the innovative ideas. These steps are also capable to provide a huge knowledge relating to the exploration of every promising idea that can assist individuals in building their personal as well as professional life (The Creative Problem Solving Group, Inc., 2003). Application of Creative Problem Solving Model After evaluating the process of creative problem solving model, it is evident that the application of this particular model is recognized as an important consideration for self-development. After joining the organization, I have decided to mitigate my limitations, which are a blockage on the way of my career growth (Byron, 2006). In the initial stage of my career, I had done an experiment with this model, which provided me with a wider knowledge for enhancing my performance in a gradual manner. It will be worth mentioning that by applying this model in my life, it has been beneficial in improving my professional life. This creative problem solving model has been proved to be useful in building my efficiency as well as efforts for performing my activities in an enhanced manner. The key characteristic of this particular model is to solve problem through a novel way (The Creative Problem Solving Group, Inc., 2003). Objective Finding During my problematic phase in working field, I have applied this model to recover my knowledge in relation to the work. Initially, I had applied the first step i.e. objective finding, which has been helpful in identify the goals as well as challenges that I have been facing from a long time of my tenure duration. In this context, I had tried to identify about a large number of challenges or barriers where I was facing difficulties during my working tenure. It has been noted that I have an interest in working as a computer technician, but my shortfall is that I do not have too much knowledge relating to computer repairing. My major challenges are relating to the technical operations, which can only be eliminated through the learning process of several technical aspects (The Creative Problem Solving Group, Inc., 2003). Fact Finding After the evaluation of the several challenges that I have been facing from a long period, I have move towards different processes. In these different processes, I have to find out about the current situation. As per the processes, I evaluated about the current scenario of that particular situation. By evaluating the current scenario, I came to know about the fact that indicated towards my lack of proper technical knowledge, which has been creating difficulties in performing my work effectively (Amabile & et. al., 1996). Lack of proper technical knowledge is also hindering my capabilities of learning my work in a brisk manner. In this context, I had realized that my limited knowledge about the technical field has not been helpful to build a competitive position in the technical industry (The Creative Problem Solving Group, Inc., 2003). Problem Findings The major problem with my work is that limitation of proper knowledge in the technical field. In this regard, I have focused over developing my key knowledge, which is the actual determinant of my assigned job. It will be worth mentioning that identification of the problem is recognized to be a vital factor as through the identification of problem, I can be able to learn about the actual procedures based on which I will be able to perform my activities successfully (The Creative Problem Solving Group, Inc., 2003). Idea Findings Idea finding is recognized as a vital factor, which depicts towards having new ideas. It especially indicates towards the development of innovative approach that has been very useful for rectifying several limitations. I always try to develop my key skills, as it will be helpful for me in my future development. Since, my joining in this job in the position of a computer technician, I have been facing large amount of problem relating to limited technical knowledge (Amabile & et. al., 1996). Based on the analysis, I have found that I need to improve my knowledge in an immediate basis. Simultaneously, at this point of time, I have three different ideas that can be helpful for my development in operational functions. My first idea is to learn in the working field from my fellow colleges. My second idea is to do home study where I can improvise my knowledge. Apart from this, my third idea is to join few relevant courses where I can be able to learn about the theoretical as well as practical knowledge for performing technical activities efficiently (The Creative Problem Solving Group, Inc., 2003). Solution Findings After the formulation of three relevant ideas, I was a bit confused regarding the implementation of the relevant ideas. In my confused state of mind, I was unable to decide about the actual adoption of the appropriate idea. In this context, the evaluation of the actual problem is recommended to be one of the most vital steps. However, it will be worth mentioning that adoption of wrong idea can be a vital disaster for my career growth. The first idea is to learn during the work from my fellow colleague, but it quite time lengthy aspect, as many of my colleges are busy in their own job. On the other hand, may be the process of learning from my colleges should be a quite de-motivating in nature for me in relation inappropriate feedbacks. The second process is to do self-study at home (Byron, 2006). This idea is quite a good one, but it will not be able to enhance my knowledge successfully. It has been identified that home study will provide me with a knowledge regarding theoretical evidence, but it cannot be able to provide the practical knowledge regarding technical factor. It will be worth mentioning that home study is good but without any support, it will not provide appropriate knowledge. The third idea is to have a tutor for computer classes, which will be helpful in developing my theoretical as well as practical knowledge relating to computer breakdown that has been more relevant to the working field (The Creative Problem Solving Group, Inc., 2003). Acceptance Finding After the step or procedure of solution findings, acceptance of the proper idea is mandatory for every people. In this regard, I have selected the third option of taking tutorial class for the relevant courses, so that I can be able to learn in a quick manner. By evaluating many possible aspects, I have come to know about the large number of possible factors that can be vital for my development process. In this regard, I have decided to take external tutorial classes for having a better knowledge to perform my activities as computer technician. I have completed courses in hardware and software. These skills have enhanced my knowledge and have assisted in developing my theoretical as well as practical base to work as a computer technician (The Creative Problem Solving Group, Inc., 2003). Part 2 Executive Summary The study majorly focused on the internal operational structure of several banks. In this regard, the study has emphasized Bank Sohar, which is recognized as one of the most popular as well as emerging banks in Oman. More specifically, it can be elaborated that to identify the large number of operational process, the company has decided to adopt the creative climate model, which depicted about the several dimensions of the organization. The creative climate model has included three groups such as resources, motivations as well as exploration. These three groups include ten dimensions, which depicted towards the several aspects of the organizational performances. The study also focused over identifying several limitations relating to Human Resource Departments of the bank. As per the creativity climate model, the bank has been able to eliminate the blockage relating to the motivational issues for interpersonal conflicts, which have been affecting the satisfaction level of the employees. In this regard, the HRM department providing appropriate training and grooming sessions will be able to mitigate the issue of interpersonal conflicts amid the employees for ensuring that employees are able to perform operations successfully. Introduction In this contemporary era, banking business has been recognized to be growing in rapid manner. While entering to a country for business purposes, most of the business organizations have made an evaluation of the banking industry of that particular country. After the imposition of globalization, the banking sector has made a large number of improvisations. In this regard, Bank Sohar is identified to be one of the most rapid growing banks operating in Oman. In the year 2006, the Central Bank of Oman has provided the permission to the local bank named Bank Sohar to perform financial operation in the region. Moreover, the Ministry of Commerce & Industry has issued the approval relating to establishment of Bank Sohar (Zawya, 2007). After the establishment, the bank has renowned for quality services as well as financial products. It will be worth mentioning that Bank Sohar focuses on developing its effectiveness in the market by ensuring that products and/or services are offered in accordance with customers’ needs as well as requirements. The bank has planned to adopt every possible step on the basis of which the customers are able to quality products as well as services. The objective of the bank is to work with integrity by respecting every individual’s needs as well as requirements. Apart from this, the bank is also having few objectives to focus over customers, provide services time efficiently along with teamwork performance (Bank Sohar S.A.O.G, 2015). The principle intention of the study is to describe about the performance of Bank Sohar. The study also describes about a large number of creative along with innovative strategies for suggesting the organization to enhance its performances level as per the requirements of the customers. Application and Analysis If an industrial domain or any organization has been represented as a tree, then the branches of the tree are reflected as a network hierarchy and the customers are resembled as the leaves of the tree. As per this concept, an appropriate climate is recognized to be very significant factor for the enhancement of any industry. It will be worth mentioning that in the service industry, the market condition has been playing an important role. The financial organization i.e. Bank Sohar is recognized as one of the most popular banks of Oman. The bank is highly focused over the development of its products as well as services as per the requirements of customers. The bank has gained popularity through its speed service providences among the customers (Amabile & et. al., 1996). People belonging to Oman are having a preference that Bank Sohar is their favorite as the bank provides the customers with different types of transactional facilities. It will be worth mentioning that people prefer this bank due its excellent facilities as well as for its excellent featured products. In addition, the bank has claimed to provide speedy as well as economic services to the customers. In this regard, the company has gradually become more popular among the normal people of the country. Apart from this, the bank has been efficient in providing several additional services to the customers in order to reduce their efforts. The bank is also providing a knowledge based support to the customers regarding business transactions, so that the customers are able to have relevant information about the operational procedures of the bank (Sundgren & et. al., 2005). However, it has been also identified that the bank has been performing operations on a large number of operating domains. It has been also recognized that Bank Sohar is having a large number of limitations, which can destroy its business environment as well as business processes. It is obvious that every department has few limitations in the development of the business process. The bank has been ascertained to be an efficient service provider, but it has few limitations in motivational aspects associated with interpersonal conflicts in its internal structure. In this regard, the bank should establish a new model, which ascertained about the need for the development in the banking operations. In addition, the bank should assess about its internal operational activities. The department of Human Resource Management of the bank should do the assessments about its operational infrastructure. The assessment should be conducted under the process of creativity climate model (Research and Market, 2014). The creativity climate model has ten dimensions, which has been grouped under three areas of operational factors. These ten dimensions are challenge, freedom, idea time, dynamism, idea support, trust and openness, playfulness and humour, conflicts, debates and risk-talking. These ten dimensions are grouped into three major areas such as resources, motivations as well as exploration (Amabile & et. al., 1996). On the other hand, under the resource dimension, there are four dimensions that include idea time, idea support, challenges and personal involvement. Human Resource Department (HRM) has decided to evaluate about its internal infrastructure. Apart from this, the motivation process included trust and openness, play fullness and humour as well as absence of intrapersonal conflicts. Besides, exploration includes risk taking process, debate about the issues as well as freedom (Oman Arab Bank, 2012). On the other hand, it can be elaborated that through this creative climate model process, Bank Sohar can make an assessment about its internal operational structure. The assessment has provided adequate information to the bank about the key areas of its development. By the evaluation, it has been depicted that Bank Sohar is currently facing a large numbers of problem relating its interpersonal conflicts among the employees belonging to several departments of the bank. It has been also recognized that the requirements have been developed as the needs of the customers. In addition, during the evaluation, it has been observed that Bank Sohar is having adequate resources, which indicated towards idea time, idea support, several challenges as well as involvement of individual employees. In this regard, the challenges indicated towards the fact that the bank personnel are facing problems that been experienced at the time of performing day-to-day operations (Market Publishers, 2015). In this regard, the management of the bank will be required to develop different numerous ideas, which will provide time and opportunity to every individual employee to frame strategies for eliminating several problems relating to their day-to-day operational work. In this regard, the employees are also provided with a lot of adequate supports for implementing those ideas for performing their activities in an effective manner (M1Creativity, 2013). Apart from this, motivation is recognized to be a vital as well as one of the most systematic approaches of development as per the creative climate model. However, it has been observed that in this bank, the motivational creative climate is invisible in nature. It is also noted that the employees of Bank Sohar are not having such emotional safety along with security in their working relationship. In this regard, the internal conflicts arise among the several employees of Bank Sohar. The employees of Bank Sohar are having opportunities to have exposures about their several innovative ideas during any general meeting. Apart from this, the company provides its employees with a freedom of making a debate about any logical as well as relevant issues. Although, the company has adopted different measures for motivating its employees with an approach of risk taking strategy, which can be useful for the bank to develop the customer base (Market Publishers Reports, 2015). Conclusion From the above discussion, it can be comprehended that Bank Sohar is a new emerging bank of Oman. More specifically, it has been identified that Bank Sohar is one of the most popular banks, which mainly focuses over quick service delivering concept. The bank is having a very good reputation in front if its customers, but few limitations have been observed in its internal operations. In order to evaluate a large number of limitations, the bank has decided to do an assessment of several departments of Bank Sohar. The assessment has been primarily organized for identifying about the large number of key areas, where the development is necessarily required. In order to evaluate about the several limitations, the bank applied the creative climate model, which has been able to bring a large number of innovation in the organizational process. It can be concluded that applying creativity climate model is recognized as one of the most important as well as effective tools for the development of organizational operational structure. Recommendations By evaluating the operational activities of Bank Sohar, it has been observed that the bank has a very strong operational infrastructure. Through this operational infrastructure, the bank has been able to provide efficient services to its customers. The bank is identified to be renowned for service quality, but as per the point of view of creativity climate model, the bank does not have the motivational approaches towards its employees. More specifically, it can be elaborated that employees of that bank are suffering from motivational issues that arises due to interpersonal conflicts, which have developed a gap between satisfaction and expectations of the employees. In this regard, the HRM of the bank should provide a perfect working environment for the employees. This will assist in developing an effective atmosphere for developing a bond among the employees of the same or different departments. In addition, the bank should organize different social gathering events where the employees will be able to interact with each other and accordingly, will be able to develop a better interpersonal relationship (Market Publishers Reports, 2015). The HRM department of the bank is identified to be an important segment of the bank for providing the employees with different training services as well as grooming sessions. In this context, the employees of .the bank with the provisions of different services will be able to enhance their level of performance. Accordingly, the HRM department will conduct meeting with the employees, so that problems can be recognized and accordingly, different measures can be adopted with the intention of motivating the employees in an enhanced manner. It is worth mentioning in this regard that the HRM department of the bank has been an important consideration for mitigating the interpersonal conflict amid the employees by playing an effective leadership role towards the issues faced by the employees. Contextually, the employees with proper assistance from the HRM department are able to develop coordination among the employees for ascertaining that the employees are able to perform their operations as teams (Market Publishers Reports, 2015).
