Task: Position Advertisement A new catering company in town is looking for qualified and ambitious individuals to fill the position below. This is a great opportunity to be part of an ambitious catering team and work closely with an experienced team to provide high quality service to our clients.
Catering manager
The manger will coordinate all activities in the catering department and ensure that the highest quality and excellence in service provision. This involves motivating employees, developing new dishes and experiences and working towards the general reputation of the company. A bachelor’s degree in hotel management and 3 years experience are necessary for the position. Qualified candidates should apply through the website and provide 3 professional referees.
Controller and Bookkeeper
The controller and bookkeeper will be in charge of all financial aspects of the company from receiving and making payments, requisitions and invoices. Certificate in bookkeeping and relevant experience are necessary for the position.
Sous chef
The Sous chef will work closely with the head chef in providing quality cooking to meet the highest standards for the company. The job requires great passion for quality and a great sense of imagination. The ideal candidate should have 2 years experience at a busy catering unit. The pay is negotiable depending on experience and ability.
Wait staff
The wait staff will be required to attend to customers at all times and supply them with their requirements. The ideal candidates should be dedicated, patient and professional in their appearance and conduct. Duties will involve preparing tables, taking and providing customer orders and cleaning. The ideal candidates should have at least two years experience from a busy hotel or catering environment.
