From the tabulated figures above, it is revealed that the face value of Zero coupon bonds for Google Inc. was static at $100.00 for between 2007 to 2014. On the other hand, the face value for normal coupon bonds remained constant at $1000.00 for the entire seven year accounting period (Tuckman and Angel 25).
The share prices for Google Inc. have been very unstable depending on the changes in market conditions and other factors. These prices showed irregular pattern characterized by price fluctuations. It was in December 2008 that Google Inc. shares posted the highest prices ever at $700.00. However, following the series of global financial contagions, the share prices kept changing with the second quarter of 2014 posting the lowest rates within the seven year period.
With respect to traded shares, Google Inc. has posted mixed performance. The company’s shares have dominated the market over the last years. Nevertheless, the numbers of shares annually traded were highest in 2011 with over 6.7 million share issued in 2011. It was in 2008 that Google issues the least number of shares at 4.98 million issued for public subscription (Tuckman, and Angel 33).
