Myth of Free Market Healthcare Comments on Dalmia’s post Dalmia is right when she says that asopposed to England where there is a public-private partnership, the US health is a free market that can only compare to that of France and Germany. This leads to the public opting to acquire better health care plans from private providers at the expense of the Obama Care. I agree with Dalmia that against what is commonly thought, America does not offer public care but simply covers those unable to have insurance such as the elderly and the poor, the rest of the uninsured are partially cover as they have to pay for their emergency bills.

Though most of her points are right, it is hard to concur with Dalmia when she says that the Health insurance should adopt a structure similar to that of motor insurance where you pay for the kind of service you want. This will still create service deterioration as more focus will be put on those who pay better. (Dalmia Par 1-10). Comments on the student’s post I concur with the student when he says the most of the writer’s points are well grounded. My first area of disagreement with the student is when he states that the writer should have used other countries also as examples such as Sweden, something that discourages him a little unjustifiably.

I believe the examples the writer has given are sufficient. The other area of disagreement is when the student recommends a more laissez-faire system that provides the consumers with what they want and paying for what they get.
