Globalization Research Proposal This essay aims to explore how globalization has become a major force in this day and age as it has changed perspectives and allowed people to discern new pathways and means. It has emphasized on how the global workforce has become more connected than ever and how there is a general sense of dismay within the local publics because talent reigns supreme in this day and age. As a social phenomenon, globalization has been studied in-depth in order to determine where positives and negatives combine to produce a solution-oriented strategy. This is needed to take things forward for the basis of globalization in the long run. The research scope of this essay surrounds how different locals within various countries of the world combine to produce the much required value for globalization and how limitations come up every now and then. This is aimed to reduce the issues and concerns that proponents and even critics may have at a given time. These limitations are discussed both in the light of the local environments as well as the global studies which are conducted from time to time through different research bases. Hence the scope has been defined clearly to pinpoint what is being delved deep into. Finally this essay ends with a vision to take things forward from here and how humanity can attain as many benefits as possible from the domains of globalization. This would be the basis of knowing how success touch points can be further replicated to reap the best results in the times to follow. Essay on Globalization Globalization is being seen as the next best thing after the technological manifestations all over the world. This is because it has impacted the lives of millions globally. Because of globalization, many individuals are able to work and spend their lives in an easy way. This was not the case, say 20 years back from today. Globalization has allowed people to seek work in different localities of the world without any worries or barriers. This is the basis of much success and accomplishment for their work related domains. Not only this but also the manner under which globalization has brought in local level changes within the dynamics of the world is something to gain insight from. The manner in which the global workforce is highlighted suggests for their oneness and unity across the board. This paper is basically an essay which shall contemplate how globalization has helped the people in this day and age, and how it has been a source of their interaction and development when seen from a broader perspective. The global connection has come after a great deal of research and evidence. The role of technology has made this possible over the years. With the technological manifestations in hand, the global connection has become even stronger. The technological manifestations have been guided by the able support and assistance at the hands of the people who have long believed in globalization. The society has accepted globalization because it wants its people to move forward and take the norms within its folds. This has happened for all the right reasons, be it in the United States of America or India for that matter (Slater 2006). It has transcended the myth revolving around physical boundaries and brought people closer than ever before. This is crystal clear in the examples that one can give of countries like Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Philippines, United Arab Emirates and quite a few others. They have understood the dictum of globalization and gone many steps ahead to achieve success through interaction and engagement of the publics. How the society views globalization is also interesting to note. This is because it is the society itself that defines the very scope of globalization and makes its mark on the global fabric. The need is to know how locals of an area are affected by globalization and how it makes their tasks either difficult or easy. The societal norms need to be studied because these define the very basis of interaction and engagement within the people who might be belonging to varied regions of the world. The need is also set to find out where anomalies actually lie and how these will be addressed at the earliest. The proponents and supporters of globalization will benefit when this philosophy is documented in the most apt sense. When the society bases its essential role towards globalization, the benefits are there for one and all to see and seek something new. This is apparent within the modern day societal roles which have come up with the advent of globalization. Culturally speaking, this globalization phenomenon is an interesting one. This is because many different cultures are set in action when people from varied regions mingle with one another and that too for good reason. People get to know each other which basically allows for their interactions and activities to be shared across the board. This engagement is set in stone and helps as a catalyst for their inner growth and development. Understanding these different cultures is a much sought after requirement of the globalization premise as this has been the case ever since globalization came to the fore. It would be sound to state that globalization will always allow the people to link up with one another and thus seek new areas for shared development. Different cultures get along with one another when they are being kept under the umbrella of globalization. The need is to underline the basic principles and the philosophies under which globalization comes about as a point of success. How locals are affected by globalization basically defines the very philosophy upon which it is based. This is because if globalization allows the workers to work from the luxury of their homes while sitting at a distance from the region where they are working, which essentially is outsourcing, then this means that the locals will have an issue. How this is affected basically underlines how globalization will be manifested in the truest sense and that too without much difficulty (Srinivas 1995). This is the basis of knowing how globalization will reap rich results and how it will be able to turn a new leaf in the wake of changing time dimensions. Locals must be taken hand in hand with the people who eventually get the jobs and thus be the immediate touch points for outsourcing. This aims to resolve quite a few problems which may crop up at a later stage within the globalization tenets. The limitations of globalization need to be deciphered before moving ahead further. This is because these limitations dictate the basis of success or failure which is connected with globalization and indeed the entire debate that is being highlighted here. These limitations look at factors where globalization would not be able to make its mark and where it should be kept separately from the locally assembled plans and actions. Globalization is always welcomed when there is a chance to grow and develop in an exponential manner - when there is a need to outshine and give ones best. The limitations additionally discuss where the proponents of globalization may have gone wrong and how amends need to be made on their part. This would mean that they shall have overestimated the potential of globalization and blown it out of proportions while in reality it would not have been a big thing to be explored further. What holds for globalization in the future is for one and all to see and gain insight from. This is the basis of knowing what globalization will be able to achieve as far as the future domains are concerned. It may be possible that a wholly new phenomenon takes over the basis of globalization and replaces it altogether. It is also a possibility that globalization gives way to a concept which is even more localized than it is at the present. There are a number of options that one can look into as far as globalization and its dimensions are concerned. The need is to be aware of the changing trends and routines as and when they come about. Having said that globalization will continue to rule the roost in the coming days and times, and this trend shall remain as it is in the near future. This is because the basis for it to grow and develop looks promising as it is and the proponents and advocates of globalization would go to any limits to make sure that their vision and dream becomes a reality sooner rather than at a later stage. In the end, it would be apt to state that globalization has brought in more successes than one can compare the same with failures within the world contexts. This will be the basis of much significance as far as this global phenomenon is concerned. There is immense learning for the people who have believed in the dictum of globalization as well as for those who have defied it all along. The need is to know where to set the pin for globalization to be deemed as a completed phenomenon and hence to move on it from in a forward direction. Even though this might sound promising as it is, the fact of the matter is that globalization still has a long way to cover. Bibliography Slater, S., 2006.
