Full Passion unto Passion Abigail Adams advises that “Learning is not attained by chance but rather is sought for with ardor and diligence”. I strongly agree with this wife and mother of great political leaders who is full of wisdom and courage. Learning does not simply come to the affluent or the intelligent. It is gained by the passionate and hard-working student. Nevertheless, learning can be more productive when the student is given an equally eager and conscientious teacher. As such, it is my desire to transfer to George Fox University because I believe the school has the qualities that match my needs.

I first heard about the school from a friend who transferred from the school I currently go to. From then on, I have been hearing good reviews about George Fox University which caught my attention. I then started searching for more information about the school since I have been considering finding a school that fits my needs. As an international student, I find the professor-student ratio extremely beneficial for my learning. The small number of students in a class will definitely make me more able to cope with the lessons because I believe that the objective of such program is top quality service and its focus is the development and training of students.

I know that my learning experiences will be maximized at George Fox University while I will in turn, be given more opportunities to share my ideas in a small group and actively participate in group activities. As a major in Broadcasting and hosting, I want to obtain my Masters in Business Administration because I aim to work in the business department of TV programs. The course will not simply give me the advantage to succeed in business but more importantly, it will train me for the real challenges of business in the outside world.

I want to obtain and develop leadership skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, better social skills and other necessary abilities and capabilities in that will empower me as a competent and efficient businessman. If I will be given the chance to study at George Fox, I know that my leadership skills will not only be enhanced but it will also be centered on global perspective which is the current trend of every business. Moreover, the exposure to real-world situations made available to students is much valued by this learner.

I believe that the various projects incorporated in program will acquaint me with the real problems in any business and the different approaches of several business establishments. In addition, the international study trips will allow me to visit other places which could help widen my understanding and perspective of business. Furthermore, the trip will help me understand transnational business administration which I believe is important in my inclinations. Lastly, I also consider the ethical worldview of the school as an essential part of training leaders of the different nations because morality and ethics seem to be fast fading with the growing busyness of people around the globe.

It is my hope that knowing about George Fox at this time may not be too late for me. I look forward to being given the chance to be mentored by the efficient professors of the university. As part of my deliberate search for knowledge and training, I know I have found the school which can stir up my enthusiasm and perseverance through unequalled zeal and commitment.
