Also the users of this information system would have little idea where their data is being employed.This is a serious issue and hence should be treated as such. It actually matters to a great extent that the customers could be either individuals or businesses. And this essentially dictates how well the system of properly scrutinizing the data is concerned (Lech, 2012).

The customers need to know exactly where their data is being made use of and who is transgressing on their data realms. The business hubs similarly must incorporate practices which shall take care of the data which is stored within their folds (Lari, 2002). They must not allow any transgressions because these are unethical and unwarranted at all times. It is a fact that the kind of information which is being gathered remains significant under such discussions. This is because both purchase patterns of the customers as well as their relevant contact information remain very pivotal towards disclosing the vital details that no business shall like to divulge (Kumar, 2001).

This is the reason why the role of ethics comes into the equation and for all the right reasons.
