Such activities include the signing of agreements and contracts. In addition, face-to-face meetings allow members to engage in and observe both verbal and non-verbal behavioral styles that cannot be captured by computerized communication systems like video conferencing (Arvey, 6). These meetings help businesses bond teams together, get breakthrough thinking and build strong business relationships. Participants will still have to travel to business meetings in order to get all that they need.

  1. Question Two

Whereas video conferencing and teleconferencing achieve the same goal of enabling simultaneous video and audio communication for two parties in different areas, the main distinction between them is on mobility. Videoconferencing can be carried out anywhere. It can be used in airports, at home, or while traveling. It is a technology with no restrictions on location and device use. On the other hand, telepresence can only occur in the boardrooms which house the large and complex equipment, which makes it possible to manage the environment’s noise and echo levels.

  1. Question Three

Video conferencing adds value to businesses in many ways. These include reducing travel costs and the time required to conduct business. In addition, companies that employ videoconferencing are able to improve their carbon ratings by reducing carbon emissions, hence attracting more clients. These factors improve the profitability of the businesses in the long run, therefore, making videoconferencing a smart management practice.

  1. Question Four

Yes, I would implement video conferencing for my small business. In order to do this, I would consider the number of times I travel on business ventures.
