Correspondingly, the population of the community is often identified to face different health related issues. Moreover, considering the increasing unemployment along with mounting poverty rate of the community population, a substantial degree of need persists to take adequate steps in providing a basic educational support to develop the living standards within the mentioned community. The research proposal aims to conduct knowledge enhancement activities regarding healthcare issues, which can enable them to improve their present living standard, especially that led by the low income group population around the university campus, in a self-sufficient manner. In order to enhance the knowledge of the population, the proposal tends to clearly define a set of measures and activities associated with highlighting each step of the project to achieve the determined objectives. Moreover, the proposal also demonstrates specific aims and brief summary of the relevant literatures in line with the major actions to be performed in developing the knowledge of the community population. The proposal also intends to set an effective project timeline including the key landmarks and their implementation dates, which can enable the project team to efficiently accomplish the project objectives within the estimated time period. PROJECT EXPLANATION Through a recent observation of the population around the university campus, it has been identified that a number of problems are faced by a majority of low income group people within the community. In this regard, the educational deficiencies along with healthcare problems are few of the major concerns faced by this particular segment of population across the community. In this context, a survey will be conducted though an interview process, considering 50 respondents from low income group population around the university. With regard to provide health support to this segment of population, the project team would be liable to build an effective medical setting with required healthcare equipments, materials along with a group of experienced nursing staff. The major aims of the project can be characterized into two parts including the development of health condition and improving healthcare related educational competencies of the community population surrounding the university campus. In this regard, the primary functions of the project would also be focused on identifying different health related issues faced by the population and demonstrating effective healthcare plans to improve their physical and psychological conditions. With respect to the objective of enhancing knowledge regarding healthcare needs, the project activities would be highly focused on informing about the needs of education for individuals to improve their living standards. With reference to the previous projects associated with conducting essential initiatives to improve community based healthcare programs, the study of Jones and Bartlet Learning (n.d.) has identified that the deficiency of obtaining adequate healthcare facility by the lower income group population has been gradually increasing. Additionally, it is also recognizable in this regard that certain major steps by the governmental and private institutions must be encouraged to improve the educational statistics of the population across the state (Jones and Bartlet Learning, “Overview of Healthcare: A Population Perspective”). Therefore, the study associated with identifying the present healthcare issues and educational environment of the population in low income group, would enable to procure adequate information and further help to implement different measures in eliminating those problems. DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT AND MAJOR ACTIONS In accordance with the predetermined objectives of developing health and educational backgrounds of the population with low income, the project activities would be focused on encompassing different steps.
