A report by Great Britain (2009) indicates that schools can derive a number of benefits from a good school transport system in that this ensures that congestion, both on the major roads and at the school gates is at the minimal level. As many parents decide to use the school transport system like the school bus, this scenario alleviates many parents of the ‘school run’ business hence enabling them to run their errands besides reducing on the emission levels.
