It is this Five Guys predilection to focus on a few core products that has enabled the company to prosper in the contemporary market defined by recession and economic meltdown. Customer Satisfaction- The First Priority Five Guys not only provides its customers with the products made out of the best ingredients in the nation, but also offers much to its customers in terms of choice and value.

All the Five Guys burgers are made to order, while extending to the customers a choice of almost 15 free toppings. Unlike their competitors, Five Guys prefers to walk an extra mile to satisfy its customers. Many studies testify to the fact that assuring customer satisfaction has a direct spill over impact on a range of customer associated activities like purchase intentions, customer loyalty, and referrals (Neely, 2002, p. 280). It is Five Guys’ commitment to customer satisfaction that has enabled the company to be a huge success and this success directly gets reflected in almost all the statistical parameters related to the company.

Factors that Contributed to Five Guys’ Success Five Guy’s success story could be attributed to a range of factors, the salient amongst them being: Offering Only the Products Made Out of the Finest Ingredients Initially, the customers trying Five Guys’ burgers were a little apprehensive about the relatively high prices charged by the company. However, when they realized that the Five Guys’ products not only tasted much better, but were also made out of the best ingredients, they were more than willing to pay a little extra.

This dedication to. Yet, one peculiar thing about Five Guys is that this firm seldom resorts to costly advertising and had mostly relied on a set of core values aimed at quality enhancement and customer satisfaction, which have made it accrues the top spot in this survey. Five Guys make it a point to assure that it procures the best quality ingredients. The meat used by Five Guys is lean and always fresh. The buns are fresh baked and the company procures the best quality potatoes from Idaho. The products are exclusively cooked in peanut oil. Consequently, this panache for high quality ingredients directly gets reflected in business results and business profitability (Milgate, 2004, p. 46). As a direct outcome of this core value, the Five Guys’ customers not only prefer to stick to the company products, but are also quiet willing to spend a little extra on buying products that are imbued with quality and reliability.
